Kore Dili Ögretmenlerini Yetistirme Programi Amerika Üniversitelerinde Baslatilacak

Kore dili ögretmenleri, ilk kez Amerika üniversitelerinde egitilecekler.

Los Angeles'daki ve California Devlet Üniversitesi Los Angeles Kampüsü'ndeki Kore Egitim Merkezi, yerel zamana göre persembe günü orta okul ve liselerde görev yapacak olan Kore dili ögretmenlerini yetistirmeyi esas alan bir anlasma metni imzaladi.

Imzalanan yeni anlasmaya göre, California Devlet Üniversitesi Los Angeles kampüsünde, bu yil güz döneminde basalamasi düsünülen bir Korece bölümü kurulacak. 2016'dan itibaren her yil bir düzine ögretmen egitmek amaciyla Kore dili ögretmenlerini gelistiren profesyonel bir program kurulacak.

Program on Nurturing Korean Lang. Teachers to be Set up in US Univ.

Korean language teachers will be fostered for the first time at a U.S. university.

The Korean Education Center in Los Angeles and the California State University’s Los Angeles campus signed a memorandum of understanding on Thursday, local time, on the curriculum that focuses on nurturing Korean language teachers for middle and high schools.

Under the new accord, the California State University’s Los Angeles campus will set up a Korean department, which will kick off during this year’s fall semester. Starting from 2016, the college will establish a specialized program that develops Korean language teachers, with the objective of producing around a dozen teachers every year.

Ankete göre: %40-50 Civarinda Ögrenci ve Profesör Iletisimde Zorlaniyor

Yapilan bir ankete göre Güney Koreli her 10 üniversite ögrencisinden 5'i profesörleriyle iletisim kurmakta zorlaniyorlar.

Anket, 5 üniversite gazetesi tarafindan aralarinda Kore Üniversitesi, Yonsei Üniversitesi ve Kyung Hee Üniversitesi'nin de bulundugu 5 farkli üniversitedeki 1080 ögrenci ve 361 profesör üzerinde uygulandi.

Anket sonuçlari, ankete dahil edilen %53 civarinda ögrencinin ve %44 civarinda profesörün iletisimde zorluk çektiklerini ortaya çikardi.

Profesörler, iletisim engellerinin degerler ve düsünme sekillerindeki farkliliktan dogdugunu söylediler. Profesörler ayrica, çogu ögrencinin genelde kendilerinin yanindayken huzursuz hissettiklerini belirttiler.

Ögrenciler ise profesörlerinin yogun programlari ve otoriter davranislarinin iletisimdeki zorluklara neden oldugunu söylediler.

Survey: 40-50% of Students, Professors Had Difficulty Communicating

A new survey has found that five out of ten South Korean college students have struggled to communicate with their professors.

The survey was conducted by five college newspapers on one-thousand-80 students and 361 professors from five universities, including Korea University, Yonsei University and Kyung Hee University.

Survey results show that 53 percent of students and 44 percent of professors questioned said they had experienced difficulty communicating.

Professors expressed that communication barriers rise from the differences in values and ways of thinking. They also said that many students feel uncomfortable around professors in general. Students said that their professors’ busy schedules and authoritarian attitude were reasons for difficulties in communication.

Korean history to become compulsory course at high schools from next year

Kore Tarihi Önümüzdeki Yildan Itibaren Liselerde Zorunlu Ders Olacak

Egitim Bakanliginin cuma günü yaptigi açiklamaya göre hükümet, ögrencilerin ulusal tarih ve kültüre dair olumlu bir bakis açisi kazanmalari için gelecek yil liselerde Kore tarihini zorunlu ders haline getirecek.

Egitim, Bilim ve Teknoloji Bakanligi ile Ulusal Kore Tarihi Enstitüsü, okullarda Kore tarihi egitiminin yogunlastilmasi için bu dersin liselerde zorunlu ders haline getirilmesi de dahil bir dizi tedbiri bildirdi.

The government will redesignate Korean history as an essential subject at high schools next year to help students have a positive view of the national history and culture, the education ministry said on Friday.

The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology and the National Institute of Korean History announced a set of measures to intensify Korean history education at schools, including its redesignation as a compulsory subject at high schools.

Bakan, Tarih Egitiminin Önemini Vurguladi

Kore Egitim Bakani Lee Joo-ho, düzgün bir tarih egitiminin önemini vurguladi.

Lee cuma günü Kore Ulusal Müze'sinin önünde düzenledigi basin konferansinda, ülkedeki tarih dersi müfredatini gelistirmek adina bir takim önlemler sundu.

Bakan, Güney Koreli ögrencilerin kendi geçmisleriyle gurur duymalarini saglamak için hükümetin, okullardaki Kore Tarihi egitimini gelistirip güçlendirmesi gerektigini belirtti.

Japonya'nin Dokdo adasi ile ilgili son iddialarindan söz eden Bakan Lee, tarihi dogru bir sekilde anlayan insan sayisinin daha da arttirilmasinin önemini belirtti.

Bakan Lee ayrica, okullardaki tarih egitimini gelistirme yönündeki önlemlerin Güney Koreli ögrencilerin tarihi daha kolay anlamalarina ve vatanseverlik bilincini daha derinden hissetmelerine yardimci olacagini söyledi.

Minister Stresses Importance of History Education

Education Minister Lee Joo-ho has stressed the importance of a proper history education.

Lee held a news conference on Friday at the National Museum of Korea, releasing a set of measures to enhance the nation’s history curriculum.

The minister said that the government needed to improve and strengthen the schools’ education of Korean history in order to help South Korean students feel proud of their country’s past.

Mentioning Japan’s recent claims on the Dokdo islets, Lee stated that the importance of the people having correct understanding of history is growing more than ever.

He added that the latest measures to enhance the schools' history education will help South Korean students learn it more easily and feel a sense of duty to defend their nation’s sovereignty.

Korean language studies popular in Vietnam

Kore Dili Dersleri Vietnam'da Popüler Hale Geliyor

Yerel kaynaklarin söyledigine göre, Vietnam'da isletilen Kore firmalarinda çalisma amaci basta olmak üzere üniversitelerde Korece dersi alan Vietnamli ögrencilerin sayisi artiyor.

Hanoi'deki Vietnam Ulusal Üniversitesi ve Ho Chi Minh'deki diger ulusal üniversite de dahil ülke çapindaki 10 üniversitede 2000'den fazla ögrenci Korece egitimi aliyor. Dersler, yaklasik 50'sinin Güney Koreli oldugu 150 profesör ve okutman tarafindan veriliyor.

A growing number of Vietnamese students are studying the Korean language at university, mainly to work at Korean firms operating in their country, local sources said Tuesday.

More than 2,000 students are studying Korean at 10 universities nationwide, including Vietnam National University (VNU) in Hanoi and another national college in Ho Chi Minh, the sources said. About 150 professors and instructors, including some 50 native speakers from South Korea, teach the classes.

Many S. Korean college students remain passive in class: survey

Sali günü yayimlanan arastirmaya göre Güney Koreli üniversite ögrencilerinin büyük bir kismi, bölümüne karsi bir tutkuya sahip degil ve ders esnasinda pasif kalmakta.

Kore Egitim Gelistirme Enstitüsü tarafindan ülke çapindaki dört yillik üniversitelerde okuyan 2,019 ögrenci üzerinde yapilan arastirma, yüzde 15.1'inin iki ila dört saatini bölümü üzerinde çalismaya ayirdigini gösteriyor. Ardindansa 8-10 saatini ayiran yüzde 14.7'lik kesim ile 4-6 saatini ayiran yüzde 14.3'lük kesim geliyor.

A considerable number of South Korean college students are not passionate about their majors and remain passive during class, a survey showed Tuesday.

According to the survey by the Korea Educational Development Institute (KEDI) conducted on 2,019 students attending four-year universities nationwide, 15.1 percent of the respondents spend two to four hours a week working on their majors, followed by 14.7 percent spending 8-10 hours and 14.3 percent 4-6 hours.

Milli Egitim Bakanligi persembe günü yerel üniversitelere disaridan yapilan yabanci lisanslarin kontrolleri ve profesör veya ögrenci kabulündeki basvurularda sahte lisans sertifikalari için bir dizi kurali açikladi.

Güz yariyilinda yürürlüge girmesi planlanan yeni kurallarin kapsaminda, Güney Kore üniversitelerinde basvuranlarin gönderdikleri yurtdisi egitim kimliklerini dogrulamakla sorumlu bir komite kurulmasi da var.

The Education Ministry announced a set of guidelines for verifying foreign degrees Thursday in an effort to make sure that local universities screen out applicants with bogus degrees or certificates when hiring professors or accepting students.

Under the new rules expected to take effect starting in the fall semester, South Korean universities should establish a degree verification committee in charge of confirming that overseas educational credentials submitted from applicants are authentic, the ministry said.

Cuma günü yayinlanan bir rapor Güney Kore üniversitelerinin ortalama ders fiyatlarinin bu yil yükseldigini gösterdi. Özel üniversiteler devlet üniversitelerine göre daha fazla artis gösterdi.

Egitim Bakanligi ve Kore Üniversite Egitim Konseyi tarafindan ortaklasa yayinlanan rapora göre, ülke çapindaki dört yillik 191 üniversite disinda, geçen yilki 36 okulla karsilastirildiginda, yaklasik 50 okul ögrencilerden ve velilerden bir yil için 8.000.000 ₩ (US $ 7,446) üzerinde ücret tahsil ediyor.

Average tuition prices at South Korean colleges rose this year, a report showed Friday, with private institutions showing higher raises than state-funded universities.

Out of 191 four-year colleges nationwide, about 50 schools charged students and parents over 8 million won (US$7,446) for the year, compared with last year's 36 schools, according to the report jointly released by the education ministry and the Korean Council for University Education.
