Base Fare for Seoul Taxis to Rise to 3,800 Won Starting Feb. 16

Seoul İçin Esas Tarife 16 Şubatta 3,800 Won Olacak

Seoul'da yürütülen taksiler için esas tarife 16 Şubattan itibaren 3,800 Won olacak. Gece tarifesi başlangıç ücreti ise 4,600 Won olacak.

Seoul Metropol Hükümeti'nin çarşamba günü söylediğine göre; gelecek cumartesi gece 4'ten itibaren ücret, gündüz tarifesinde 800 Won; gece tarifesinde ise 1,000 Won yükselecek.

Büyük ya da lüks taksiler için olan esas tarife ücreti de 1,500 Won yükselerek 6,500 Won olacak.

Şehir hükümeti, gelecek cumartesiden itibaren 15 gün boyunca 70 bin taksinin taksimetrelerini güncellemeyi planlıyor.

The base fare for taxis operating in Seoul will increase to three-thousand-800 won starting February 16th. The starting fare for late-night rides will be four-thousand-600 won.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government said Wednesday that the fare increase of 800 won during the day and one-thousand won at night will come into effect at 4:00 a.m. next Saturday.

The base fare for large-sized and deluxe taxis will also increase by one-thousand-500 won to six-thousand-500 won.

The city government plans to update the taxi meters installed on some 70-thousand taxis over 15 days starting next Saturday.

Cold Wave Advisory Issued for Most Parts of Nation

Ülkenin Çoğu Bölgesinde Soğuk Hava Dalgası Uyarısı Yapıldı

Sıcaklıklar cuma günü ülkenin orta ve iç kesimlerde yaklaşık 10 santigrat dereceye kadar düştü ve ülkenin çoğu bölgesi için soğuk hava dalgası uyarısı yapıldı.

Kore Meteoroloji İdaresi, sıcaklığın Cuma günü Seoul’de sıfır derecenin üzerine çıkmasının pek mümkün olmadığını, ülkenin çoğu için bir önceki günden yaklaşık beş santigrat derece ineceğini öngördüğünü söyledi.

Hava durumu ajansı, soğuk dalganın hafta sonuna kadar devam edeceğini ve pazartesi gününden sonra yükselmeye başlayacağını tahmin ediyor.

Sıcaklık, önceki güne göre on dereceden daha fazla düşerse ve önümüzdeki iki gün boyunca sabah saatlerinde eksi 12 derecenin altına düşerse, soğuk hava dalga önemleri alınacak.

Temperatures dipped to around minus ten degrees Celsius in inland areas of the central region of the country on Friday, with a cold wave advisory issued for most parts of the nation.

The Korea Meteorological Administration said that the mercury is unlikely to rise above zero degrees in Seoul on Friday, forecasting daytime temperatures for most of the nation to slip by about five degrees Celsius from the previous day.

The weather agency forecast the cold wave will continue into the weekend and begin to let up from Monday.

A cold wave advisory goes into effect if the mercury drops by more than ten degrees compared to the previous day and if early morning lows drop below minus 12 degrees Celsius for two straight days.

Polluting Vehicles to Be Banned from Seoul Roads During Fine Dust Emergencies

Kirletmeye Neden Olan Araçlar İnce Toz Aciliyeti Sırasında Seoul Sokaklarına Çıkamayacak

Hava kirliliğine yol açmaya meyilli araçların, acil ince toz azaltma kararı uygulamaya girdiğinde Seoul sokaklarına çıkışı yasaklanacak.

Seoul Metropol Yönetimi'nin açıklamasına göre, karar cuma günü uygulanmaya başlanacak.

Karara göre, emisyon kayıtlarında en düşük beşinci derece olan araçların, acil ince tozun azaltılması kararı uygulanmaya başladıktan sonra sabah 6 ve akşam 9 arasında Seoul'da görülmesi halinde 100 bin Won para cezası uygulanacak.

Emisyon azaltıcı ekipmanlı araçlar ya da engelliler için olan veya özel halk kullanımı için kayıtlı olan araçlar, bu durumdan muaflar.

Vehicles that are prone to cause air pollution will be banned from running on Seoul roads when emergency fine dust reduction measures are implemented.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government said a related ordinance will be implemented on Friday.

Under the measure, vehicles given the lowest fifth grade in emission records will be fined 100-thousand won if they are spotted running in Seoul between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m. the day after an emergency fine dust reduction measure is imposed.  

Vehicles equipped with an emission reduction device or those for the disabled and registered as special public purpose vehicles will be given a waiver.

Cumartesiden İtibaren Seoul'da Taksi Esas Tarifeleri Artıyor

Seoul taksilerinin esas tarifesi, cumartesi günü gece 4'ten itibaren 800 Won artarak 3,800 Won olacak.

Seoul Metropolitan Hükümeti'nin cuma günü söylediğine göre; gece 12'den 4'e kadar olan gece tarifesi için esas ücreti 1,000 Won artarak 4,600 Won olacak.

Büyük ve lüks taksilerin esas ücreti de artarak 1,500 Won'dan 6,500 Won olacak.
Bu, Ekim 2013'ten beri gerçekleşen ilk fiyat artışı.

Standart uzaklık ve zaman birim ücreti de değişecek.

Normal taksiler, 132 metre gidişe 100 Won ek ücretlendirme yapacak. Bu öncekine göre 10 metre daha kısa mesafe. Zamanlama içinse her 35 saniye yerine artık her 31 saniye için birim ücrete 100 Won daha eklenecek.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government said on Friday that the base fare for late-night rides, which is in effect from midnight to four a.m., will rise by one-thousand won to four-thousand-600 won.

The starting fare for large-sized and deluxe taxis will increase by one-thousand-500 won to six-thousand-500 won.  

This is the first rise in fees since October 2013.  

The standard distance and time unit fee will also see change.

For ordinary taxis, 100 won will be added to the base fare every 132 meters traveled, which is ten meters shorter than the current rate. As for the time fare, 100 won will be added to the basic fee every 31 seconds instead of every 35 seconds.

Snow Falling in Seoul and Central Regions of the Country

Kore Meteoroloji Dairesi Cuma günü yaptığı açıklamada, karın gündüz kısa bir süre duracağını ve öğleden sonra ülkenin bazı bölgelerinde tekrar başlayacağını söyledi.

Seoul, Gyeonggi ve Gangwon Eyaleti'nin batı kesimleri kar kalınlığının1 ila 3 santime Chungcheong ve Kuzey Gyeongsang eyaletlerinde ise, kar kalınlığının 1 cm olması bekleniyor.

Sarı Deniz'deki 5 sınır adasının 8 cm kar yağması bekleniyor.

Ülkenin çoğu bölümünde cumartesi günü havanın tekrardan ısınacağı ön görülüyor.

Snow is falling in Seoul and the central regions of the country.

The Korea Meteorological Administration said on Friday that the snow will stop briefly during the daytime and start again in the afternoon or at night in some parts of the country.

Seoul, Gyeonggi and the western parts of Gangwon Province will receive one to three centimeters of snow, while Chungcheong and North Gyeongsang Provinces will see around one centimeter.

Five border islands in the Yellow Sea are expected to receive up to eight centimeters of snow.

Most parts of the nation are expected to see pleasant weather on Saturday.

Seoul, Gyeonggi Take Fine Dust Reduction Measures

Seoul ve Gyeonggi'de İnce Toz Azaltma Önlemleri Alındı

Seoul ve Gyeonggi Eyaleti, önümüzdeki günlerde kirlilik seviyelerinin endişe verici seviyelere çıkacağı tahmin edildiğinden, ince tozu azaltmak için Salı günü önleyici tedbirler alınmasını istedi.

Çarşamba günü uygulanan tedbirler, tek numara plakalı kamu sektörü araçlarının Seoul metropol bölgesinde akşam saat 6 - 9 arası çalışmasını yasakladı.

Kamu kurumları tarafından işletilen kirletici madde yayan iş yerlerinin faaliyetlerini azaltmak için yaklaşık 460 şantiye gerekliydi.

Hükümet, Kasım ayında ince tozu azaltma adımlarını açıklamıştı o günden sonra bu uygulama alınan tedbirlerin ilk uygulaması olacak.

İnce toz seviyelerinin başkent bölgesinde iki veya daha fazla şehir önümüzdeki iki gün boyunca ultra ince parçacıkların ortalama seviyesinin metreküp başına 50 mikrogramı aşması bekleniyor.

Seoul and Gyeonggi Province ordered preemptive measures on Tuesday to reduce fine dust as pollution levels were predicted to rise to alarming levels in the next few days.

The measures, implemented on Wednesday, forbid public-sector vehicles with odd-numbered license plates from operating between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m. in the Seoul metropolitan area.

Pollutant-emitting workplaces operated by public organizations and about 460 construction sites were also required to reduce their operations.

It is the first time the precautionary measures were enforced since the government announced steps to drastically reduce fine dust in November.

The measures are enforced when fine dust levels are expected to be bad the day after next in two or more cities or provinces in the capital region or when the daily average level of ultrafine particles are forecast to exceed 50 micrograms per cubic meter for two days.

An ultrafine dust advisory has been issued for Seoul and eastern Gyeonggi Province due to a thick blanket of dust particles that is continuing to cover much of South Korea on Monday.

Seoul City issued the advisory as of 10:00 a.m., and Gyeonggi Province issued advisories for the eastern areas of Namyangju, Guri, Gwangju, Seongnam, Hanam, Gapyeong and Yangpyeong as of 8:00 a.m.

The ultrafine dust advisory is issued when the average ultrafine dust particle level rises above 75 micrograms per cubic meter for at least two hours in a region.
