Long-awaited rain gives relief from severe drought

South Korea to Get Soaked Saturday

Güney Kore Cumartesi Günü Sağanak Yağış Altında Kaldı

Cumartesi gününden itibaren ülkenin çoğu kesiminde şiddetli muson yağmurlarının etkisini göstermesi bekleniyor.

Kore Meteoroloji Ajansı tahminlerine göre, Güney Chungcheong Eyaleti'nde şiddetli rüzgar ile birlikte sağanak yağış da olacak.

Kore Yarımadası'nın merkez bölgesindeki muson yağmurlarının geç saatlerde durması bekleniyor fakat ülkenin güney bölgeleri ise pazar gününün erken saatlerine kadar yağmur görecek.

Seoul'ün 25 dereceye ulaşmasıyla öğleden sonraki sıcaklıklar, cuma günkü sıcaklıklardan daha düşük olacak.

Heavy monsoon rains are expected in most parts of the nation throughout Saturday.

The Korea Meteorological Agency forecasts that heavy showers combined with strong winds will fall in South Chungcheong Province.

The monsoon showers in the central region of the Korean Peninsula are expected to cease late in the night but southern regions in the country will see rain until early Sunday.

Afternoon highs will be lower than Friday's temperatures with Seoul reaching 25 degrees Celcius.
