Yurtdisindan küçük ebatli araçlar ve spor araçlari (SUVs) için gelen güçlü taleplerden sonra hükümet, pazartesi günü yayinladigi raporda Güney Kore'nin otomobil ihracatinin Mart ayinda rekor sayiya ulastigini bildirdi.

Bilgi Ekonomisi Bakanligi tarafindan yayinlanan rapor, yurtdisi araç gönderilerinin geçen ay %18.1 oraninda artarak 305,257'ye çiktigini, toplam yurtiçi üretimin de %6.3 oraninda artarak 420.759'a ulastigi görülüyor.

South Korea's car exports reached a record high in March, fueled by strong overseas demand for small-sized vehicles and sport utility vehicles (SUVs), a government report showed Monday.

Overseas vehicle shipments surged 18.1 percent on-year to 305,257 units last month, with total domestic production moving up 6.3 percent to 420,759 vehicles, according to the report by the Ministry of Knowledge Economy.

Üretici Fiyat Endeksindeki artis hizi, iki yilin en düsük degerine ulasti.

Kore Bankasi, endeksin yillardir Mart ayinda, %2.8 artis gösterdigini söyledi. Ancak endeks, Mart 2010'da %2.8 i buldugundan beri ilk kez, %2 sinirinda kaldi.

Üretici fiyatlarinin artisindaki durgunlugun, tüketici fiyatlarini olumlu etkilemesi bekleniyor.

Sanayi ürünlerinin üretici fiyatlari, Subat ayindan daha düsük olarak, geçen ay %3 civarinda artis göstermisti.

Subat'ta %15'ten daha fazla artan petrol ürünleri fiyatlari, Mart'ta sadece %10'luk bir artis gösterdi.

Kore Bankasi'ndan bir görevlinin söyledigine göre,yillardir küresel petrol fiyatlarindaki kazançlarin, Mart ayinda Subat'tan daha az olmus, ve bu durum ülkedeki tüm üretici fiyatlarini etkilemisti.

The growth rate of the producer prices index has hit a two-year low.

The Bank of Korea says the index grew two-point-eight percent in March year-on-year. It's the first time in two years the index fell to the two-percent range since March 2010 when the index stood at two-point-six percent.

The slowdown in the increase of producer prices is expected to positively affect consumer prices.

Producer prices of industrial goods grew about three percent last month, lower than February. Prices of oil products which jumped more than 15 percent in February only grew ten percent in March.

A Bank of Korea official says year-on-year gains in global oil prices were smaller in March than in February and this has affected overall producer prices at home.

Güney Kore'nin önde gelen uçak isletmesi Korean Air Lines Sti. pazartesi günü bir Airbus yolcu jeti birligi için kanat uzantilari seri üretimi ve teslimine basladigini açikladi.

Uçak üretimi ve bakim isletmeleriyle de ugrasan Korean Air, popüler A320 serisi için genis çapli "Sharklets" üretiminin pazar günü Avrupali uçak üreticilerine teslim edilen ilk parçayla birlikte basladigini bildirdi.

South Korea's leading flag carrier Korean Air Lines Co. said Monday it has started mass production and delivery of winglet extensions for an Airbus consortium passenger jet.

Korean Air, which also engages in aircraft manufacturing and maintenance businesses, said full-scale production of the "Sharklets" for the popular A320 series jets began with the first unit being handed over to the European aircraft manufacturer on Sunday.

Pazartesi günü bir pazar arastirma firmasi, Güney Koreli teknoloji devi Samsung Elektronik Sti.'nin 2011'de LCD ve LED monitörlerde ilk siradaki pazar payini devam ettirdigini açikladi.

DisplaySearch, Samsung'un payinin, %12.9 ve %11.2'lik pazar paylarina sahip olan Dell ve Hewlett-Packard gibi rakipleri geçerek birlesik %15.1'e ulastigini bildirdi.

South Korean tech behemoth Samsung Electronics Co. retained its No. 1 market share in liquid-crystal display (LCD) and light-emitting diode (LED) monitors in 2011, a market research firm said Monday.

DisplaySearch said Samsung's share stood at a combined 15.1 percent, outperforming rivals such as Dell Inc. and Hewlett-Packard Co. that controlled 12.9 percent and 11.2 percent of the market each.

KOSPI Plunges Below 2000

KBSFE 2000'in Altina Düstü

Teknoloji yüklü KOSDAQ da ayrica, 16.61 puana, yani %3.3'e düserek, 486.8 puanla kapatti.

Seoul döviz piyasasinda, resmi para birimi Amerikan dolarina karsi 6.5 won kaybederek, dolari 1,138.2 won olarak kapatti.

South Korean shares plunged below the 2000 mark for the first time in a month due to disappointing economic indicators in the U.S.

The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) on Monday plummeted 31-point-95, or one-point-57 percent, to close at one-thousand-997-point-08.

Weak jobs data in the U.S. led foreigners and institutions to sell Korean shares.

The tech-laden KOSDAQ also nosedived 16-point-61 points, or three-point-three percent, to finish at 486-point-eight.

On the Seoul foreign exchange market, the local currency lost six-and-a-half won against the U.S. dollar to close at one-thousand-138-point-two won to the greenback.

Güney Kore’nin ulusal borcu geçen yil kisi basina 8.4 milyon wonla, 420.7 trilyon wona yükseldi.

Bakanlar Kurulu Sali günü 2011 mali yili için bütçe hesaplarinin açiklanmasini onayladi.

Yerel yönetimlerin de dahil oldugu degismez hükümet borcu geçen yil 28.5 trilyon won yükselerek 420.7 trilyon wona ulasti.

Bu rakam, gayrisafi yurtiçi hasilanin (GSYIH) %34’ü. Bu, 2010’a göre %33.4 daha fazla ancak %35’den fazla olacagi tahmininden daha düsük.

Ülkenin tahmin edilen 49.7 milyon nüfusuna dayanarak kisi basina ulusal borç önceki yilki 8 milyonla karsilastirildiginda geçen yil 8.4 milyon wondu.

South Korea's national debt rose to 420-point-seven trillion won last year with per capita debt at eight-point-four million won.

The Cabinet on Tuesday approved the settlement of budget accounts for fiscal year 2011.

Regular government debt including that of provincial governments rose 28-and-a-half trillion won to 420-point-seven trillion won last year.

The figure is 34 percent of gross domestic product (GDP). It's up from 33-point-four percent from 2010 but is lower than the forecast of over 35 percent.

Based on the nation's estimated population of 49-point-seven million, per capita national debt was eight-point-four million won last year, compared to just over eight million the previous year.

Crude Oil Imports Cost S. Korea $100 Bln in 2011

2011'de Ham Petrol Disalimi Kore'ye 100 Milyar Dolara Mal Oldu

Güney Kore geçen yil ihracattan elde ettigi gelirin beste birini, artan küresel petrol fiyatlariyla beraber, ihtal ham petrole harcadi.

Ekonomistlerin Pazartesi günü yaptiklari açiklamaya göre, petrole sürekli büyüyen talep ile birlikte, Güney Kore geçen yil toplamda 920 milyon varil petrol ihraç etti. Bu miktar, her biri 20.000 litrelik kapasiteye sahip 7.3 milyon kamyona esdeger.

Arastirmacilar, Güney Kore'nin ham petrol ihracatina 100 milyar 800 milyon dolar harcadigini belirtti. Bu da demek oluyor ki, ülke 2011 yilinda, gayri safi yurt içi hasilasinin onda birini ve ihracattan kazanilan paranin beste birini ham petrol ithalatina harcamis.

Ithal petrolün %57'si petrokimya sirketlerini içeren sanayi sektörüne giderken, geri kalani araç yakiti olarak kullanildi.

South Korea spent one-fifth of the income it generated through exports on crude oil imports last year amid rising global oil prices.

Economic researchers said Monday that with demand for oil continuously growing, South Korea imported a total of 920 million barrels of oil last year. That’s equivalent to seven-point-three million oil trucks with a capacity of 20-thousand liters each.

According to researchers, South Korea spent 100 billion 800 million dollars on crude imports. This means the nation spent one-tenth of its gross domestic product and one-fifth of money it earned from exports on oil imports in 2011.

Fifty-seven percent of imported oil was used by industries, including petrochemical firms, while a third went to fueling cars.

'Few Companies Profiting from New Growth Engines'

Kore Sanayi ve Ticaret Odasi'nin 600 firma üzerinden yaptigi arastirmaya göre, katilimcilardan sadece %10'u yeni gelistirilen motorlarini sigortaladigini ve bu sayede kar elde ettigini söyledi.

Bir çevre dostu yesil teknoloji endüstrisi, yeni gelistirilen motorlarin %27.3'ünden, BT (Bilgi Teknolojisi) çakismasi takibinden, yeni materyallerden ve nano sanayisinden olusuyor.

Yeni gelistirilen motor arastirmalarindaki zorluklara, %38'i yeni sanayinin az pazarlanabilmesi olurken, geri kalanina yetersiz teknoloji ve fon saglamadaki zorluklar örnek gösterilebilir.

A survey finds that only one out of ten domestic companies is turning profits from new growth engines.

According to the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s survey of 600 listed firms, only ten percent of the respondents said they have secured new growth engines and are profiting as a result.

Forty-five percent said they were considering or seeking new business opportunities, while another 45 percent said they have no plan to do so.

A green technology industry accounted for 27-point-three percent of new growth engines, followed by IT convergence, new materials and the nano industry.

As for difficulties in seeking new growth engines, 38 percent cited insufficient marketability of new industries, while others cited lack of technology and difficulties in raising funds.
