Seoul Apartment Prices Down for 18th Month

Seoul'deki Daire Fiyatları Üst Üste 18. Ay için Düştü

Seoul'deki daire fiyatlarındaki düşüş ağustos ayında da devam etti.

Yurt İçindeki emlakçı ''Emlak 114'' salı günü, başkentte bir dairenin ortalama fiyatının geçen ay binde dörtten daha fazla düştüğünü gösteren verileri yayınladı. Geçen yıl mart ayında başlayan düşüş eğilimi devam ediyor.

Ağustos ayında yeni uydu kentlerde ve başkent alanındaki daire fiyatlarının binde bir düştüğü açıklandı.

Bölge olarak Seoul'de fiyatlar yaklaşık olarak %1.7 ile en çok Gangdong'da düştü. Onu, Gangnam ve Songpa da dahil olmak üzere Han Nehri'nin güneyindeki Gangnam alanı bölgeleri takip etti. Her ikisi de binde dokuz civarında düştü.

"Jeonse" olarak bilinen mevduat tabanlı kiralık evlerin fiyatları, dört ay içindeki ilk aylık büyümeyle başkent ve daha geniş alanda binde bir yükseldi.

Apartment prices in Seoul fell for the 18th consecutive month in August.

Domestic realtor Real Estate 114 released data Tuesday showing the average price of an apartment in the capital fell more than four tenths of a percent last month, continuing the downward trend that began in March last year.

Apartment prices in new satellite cities and the wider metropolitan area posted smaller drops at one tenth of a percent each in August.

By district in Seoul, prices fell the most in Gangdong at nearly one-point-seven percent followed by neighboring districts in the Gangnam area south of the Han River, including Gangnam and Songpa. Both fell by around nine tenths of a percent.

Meanwhile, prices of the lump-sum deposit-based rental homes known as "jeonse" rose one tenth of a percent in the capital city and the wider metropolitan area, marking its first monthly growth in four months.

Samsung Electronics to Build Semiconductor Plant in Xian

Samsung Electronik Xian'da Yardımcı Tesis Kuracak

Samsung Electronik çarşamba günü Çin'deki yardımcı tesisin inşası için temel atma töreni düzenleyecek.

CEO Kwon Oh-hyun ve Çinli hükümet yetkilileri de dahil olmak üzere Samsung yöneticileri Shaanxi Eyaleti-Xian'daki törene katılacak.

Önümüzdeki yıllarda toplam yedi milyar dolar harcanacak olan tesise Samsung, inşaatın ilk aşaması için nisan ayında 2.3 milyar dolar ödedi.

Samsung deneme amacıyla gelecek yılın sonundan itibaren fabrikada işlemleri başlatmayı planlıyor. Şirket, 2014 yılından itibaren tam teşekküllü NAND flash bellek çiplerinin üretimine başlamayı hedefliyor.

Samsung Electronics will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a semiconductor plant in China on Wednesday.

Samsung executives, including CEO Kwon Oh-hyun, and Chinese government officials will attend the ceremony in Xian, Shaanxi province.

In April, Samsung has shelled out two-point-three billion U.S. dollars for the first stage of the plant's construction with a total seven billion dollars to be spent over the coming years.

Samsung plans to start operations at the plant from the end of next year on a trial basis. The company is aiming to launch full-fledged production of its NAND flash memory chips from 2014.

August Job Growth Smallest in 2012

Geçen ayki istihdam, geçtiğimiz eylül ayından bu yana en düşük büyüme ile 300 bin seviyesine geriledi.

Ağustos ayı için Kore İstatistik verileri, bir önceki yıla göre 364 bin artarak geçen ay 24.8 milyon Güney Korelinin istihdam edildiğini gösteriyor.

İstihdam, ocak ayından mayıs ayına kadar yaklaşık 400 binin üstündeydi, ama haziranda 365 bine düştü. Temmuz ayında 470 bin yeni istihdam ile 400 bin seviyesi kolayca aşılmıştı, ancak ağustos ayında 300 bin aralığına geri döndü.

İstatistik ajansı: ''Yavaş büyüme, geçen yılki keskin istihdamdan kaynaklanan etki ve son tayfunun geçici inşaat işlerinin sayısını kesmesinden kaynaklanıyor.''

İşsiz sayısı geçen yıla göre 2 bin artarak 764 bin olurken, geçen ayın işsizlik oranı %3 ile yıllık olarak aynıydı.

Job creation fell to the 300-thousand level last month marking its lowest growth since last September.

Statistics Korea data for August shows that 24-point-eight million South Koreans were employed last month, up just 364-thousand year-on-year.

Job growth was above 400-thousand on-year from January through May but fell to 365-thousand in June. It easily cleared the 400-thousand plane in July at 470-thousand new jobs but slipped again in August back to the 300-thousand range.

The stats agency says the slow growth is due to a base effect resulting from sharp job growth last year and due to the recent typhoons that have cut the number of temporary construction jobs.

The unemployment rate last month was the same year-on-year at three percent while the number of jobless people grew two thousand from last year to 764-thousand.

S. Korea, Hong Kong Hold Biz Round Table

Güney Kore ve Hong Kong, İş Görüşmeleri Düzenleyecek

Güney Kore ve Hong Kong'dan iş liderleri çarşamba günü ikili ticaret ve yatırım ortaklığını geliştirme yollarını görüşmek üzere Çin bölgesinde bir araya geldi.

Hong Kong Kongre ve Sergi Merkezindeki 15. Güney Kore-Hong Kong İşletme Yuvarlak Masa toplantısına Kore Uluslararası Ticaret Birliği ve Hong Kong Ticaret Geliştirme Konseyi ortaklaşa düzenledi. İki tarafın son toplantısı 2010 yılında Seoul'de yapılmıştı.

Business leaders from South Korea and Hong Kong got together Wednesday in the Chinese territory to discuss ways of boosting their bilateral trade and investment partnership.

The Korea International Trade Association and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council co-hosted the 15th South Korea-Hong Kong Business Round Table at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center. The two sides' last gathering was held in 2010 in Seoul.

Galaxy Note 2 Sales to Top 20 Mln: Samsung

Bir şirket yetkilisi çarşamba günü Samsung Elektronik Şti.'nin son mobil cihazı Galaxy Note 2 satışlarının önceki model Galaxy Note 1'e göre iki kattan daha fazla olacağını söyledi.

Samsung'un IT ve mobil birim başkanı Shin Jong-kyun, "Satışlar -önceki modele göre- iki kattan fazla olabilir," şeklinde konuştu. Kasım ayında piyasaya sürülen Galaxy Note 1, 10 milyondan fazla sattı.

Sales of Samsung Electronics Co.'s latest mobile gadget, the Galaxy Note 2, are likely to be more than two times its previous model, the Galaxy Note 1, a company official said Wednesday.

"Sales may grow more than two-fold (compared with the previous model)," Shin Jong-kyun, the head of Samsung's IT and mobile unit, said. The Galaxy Note 1, released in November, has sold more than 10 million units.
