Kim Yu-na Aims For Gold At Sochi Olympics

Kim Yu-Na, Sochi Olimpiyatları İçin Altın Madalya Hedefliyor

Fotoğrafta gösterilen Kim Yu-Na (soldaki) ve sürat patencisi Lee Sang-Hwa, şubat ayında, Rusya'daki kış olimpiyatları için altın madalya hedefini koruyor. 2010 yılında Kim, bayan artistik patinajda ve Lee, 500 metre sürat pateninde Vancouver Kanada'da altın madalyayı kazandı.

Emblem For Pyeongchang Paralympics

Pyeongchang Paralimpik Olimpiyat Oyunları İçin Amblem

2018 de Pyeongchang Kış Paralimpik Olimpiyat Oyunları bir amblem ortaya çıkarmak için Kore'deki Seoul Ulusal Müzesi'ndeki seremoni gerçekleşmiştir. Paralimpik Olimpiyat Oyunları, fiziksel ve zihinsel engelli sporcular için bir yarışmadır.

A ceremony is underway at the National Museum of Korea in Seoul to reveal the emblem for the Winter Paralympics in Pyeongchang, Gangwon Province, in 2018. The Paralympics is a competition for physically and
mentally disabled athletes.

Sochi Olimpiyatları İçin Hazırlık

Atletler ve spor görevlileri, 30 Ekim 2013 tarihinde yapılan basın konferansında Seoul'ün kuzeyinde bulunan Taeneung eğitim kampında hazırlanılan ve oyunların başlamasına sadece 100 gün kalan 2014 Kış Olimpiyatları'nın Rusya'nın Sochi kentinde yapılmasının en iyi karar olduğunu tekrarladılar. Güney Kore, 3 kere üst üste ilk 10'da bitirmeyi hedefliyor.

Athletes and sports officials reaffirm their resolve to do their best at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, at a news conference on Oct. 30, 2013, at the Taeneung training camp in northern Seoul, marking that only 100 days remain until the start of the Games. 2013 Kore Serisi şampiyonasında mücadele eden Samsung Lions ve Doosan Bears'ın kaderi iki yabancı oyuncunun omuzlarında. Rick VandenHurk yedi maçlık seride 3-2 the Bears'ı takip eden şampiyon Lions'la başlayacak ve Dustin'de bugün Daegu'de düzenlenecek 6. oyunda Doosan için sahada olacak.

İki atıcıda 2. oyunda başladılar ve iyi oynadılar. VandenHurk sadece üçte iki inning'ten ve beş vuruştan dördünden vazgeçip, koşmalarına izin vermeden 7 vurucuyu çıkarttı. Ayrıca Nippert'da altı inining'de üç vuruşa izin vererek koşmaktan vazgeçmedi.

Lions'ın antrenörü Ryu Joong-il, 5. oyunda 28 atış yapan 27 yaşındaki yedek oyuncuyla başlamakta tereddüt etmekte.

The destiny of the Samsung Lions and the Doosan Bears, who are battling for the 2013 Korean Series title, rests on the shoulders of two foreign pitchers. Rick VandenHurk will start for the defending champion Lions, who trail the Bears in the best-of-seven series, 3-2, and Dustin Nippert will be on the hill for Doosan in Game 6, which will be held in Daegu at 6 p.m. today.

Both pitchers started Game 2 and performed well. VandenHurk struck out seven hitters without allowing any runs, while giving up only four hits in five and two-thirds innings. Nippert also didn’t give up a run while allowing only three hits in six innings.

Lions skipper Ryu Joong-il grappled with whether he would start the 27-year-old right-hander as he threw 28 pitches as a reliever in Game 5.

Futbol Maçı Listesi Açıklandı

4 Kasım 2013 tarihinde Seoul'de, 2014 Brezilya Dünya Kupası için Güney Kore takımı baş antrenörü Hong Myung-bo futbol maç listelerini açıkladı ve Kore Futbol Federasyonu da gelecek maçı için oyuncu listesini duyurdu. Koreliler 15 Kasım'da Seoul’de İsviçrelilere  karşı ve 19 Kasım'da da Dubai'de Ruslara karşı mücadele edecek.

Ocak ayından beri onursal temsilcimiz, Los Angeles Dodgers'ta oynayan Ryu Hyun-jin, 5 Kasım 2013 tarihinde Seoul'deki Sheraton Grande Walkerhill Hotel'de avuç içini bastırdı. Amerika Ulusal Beyzbol Ligi sezonunu kapatan sol elini kullanan atıcı, Ulusal Lig çaylakları arasında atışta birinci ve ERA' da ikinci sırada yer aldı. Güney Koreli top atıcı, Kore'de kaldığı süre boyunca otelde yapılacak iki hayırsever etkinliğine katılacak.
