Güney Kore Dünya Beyzbol Klasiği'nden Elendi

Güney Kore, Dünya Beyzbol Klasiği'nin (WBC) çeyrek finallerine ilerleyemedi.

South Korea has failed to advance to the quarterfinals of the World Baseball Classic (WBC).

South Korea beat Taiwan 3-2 Tuesday in the final match of Group B play at Taichung International Baseball Stadium in Taiwan on Tuesday, but the win wasn't enough for a quarterfinal berth.

Korea, Taiwan, and the Netherlands all finished the group with 2-1 records, but Taiwan and the Dutch advanced, edging out the Koreans and a winless Australia on run differential.

This is South Korea’s first time to miss the quarterfinals in the WBC. It advanced to the semifinals in 2006 and finished runner-up in 2009.
