Gov't Approves Humanitarian Aid for NK:

Hükümet Kuzey Kore Için Insani Yardimi Onayladi:

Birlesme Bakanligi, Kuzey Kore'ye yardim göndermek için iki özel kurulus tarafindan teklif edilen istegi kabul etti.

Bakanligin Çarsamba günü yaptigi açiklamada, Sevgi Paylasimi Halk Kore Derneginin topladigi 175 milyon Won’un Kore’de Okedongmu Çocuklar yetkilisi araciligiyla Kuzey Hwanghae’de bir hastaneye tibbi malzeme ile Pyeongan’daki bir yetimhaneye gida malzemeleri almak için kullanilacagi belirtildi.

Hükümet, 31 Mart’ta gönderimi onaylanan 630 milyon Won degerindeki malzemeleri Kuzey’e göndermek için alti organizasyona izin verdi.

Bakanlik yardimlarin aciliyeti ve malzemelerin dagitiminin seffaflik açisindan degerlendirilmesinden sonra, bu tür talepleri kabul etmeye devam edip bu durumlari bir karar olarak kabul edecegini söyledi.

Gov't Approves Humanitarian Aid for NK:

The Unification Ministry says it has approved a request by two private organizations to send aid shipments to North Korea.

The ministry said Wednesday that it has authorized Okedongmu Children in Korea and the Korea Association of People Sharing Love to deliver 175 million won worth of medical supplies and food products to a hospital in North Hwanghae Province and an orphanage in North Pyeongan Province.

The government has allowed six organizations, including the two, to send some 630 million won worth of supplies to the North since first approving shipments on March 31st.

The ministry said it will continue to decide case-by-case whether to approve such requests, after assessing the urgency of the aid and the transparency of the distribution of materials.

Bir yetkilinin söyledigine göre, ülkedeki yesil büyüme kampanyasi kapsaminda Seoul Büyüksehir Belediyesi hidrojenle çalisan 33 aracin resmi görevlerde kullanimina persembe gününden itibaren baslayacak.

Seoul Büyüksehir Belediyesi, çevreye dost ulasim çerçevesinde hidrojen yakitli arabalari parklari devriye gezmek, hava kirliligini denetlemek, tesisleri idare etmek ve yabanci ziyaretçilere yardimci olmak gibi amaçlar için kullanacak.

Seoul's municipal government will use 33 hydrogen-powered cars for official duties starting Thursday, an official said, living out the country's campaign for green growth.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government will use the hydrogen-fueled cars for patrolling parks, inspecting air pollution, managing facilities and supporting foreign visitors, among other uses, said the official in charge of environment-friendly transportation.

Devlet baskani Lee Myung-bak hükümetin, bilim adamlari ve mühendisler için daha fazla destekleyici bir arastirma ortami olusturmak için etkin bir sekilde çaba gösterecegine söz verdi.

Devlet baskani, Persembe günü 43. Bilim Günü dolayisiyla tesvik edici bir ögle yemeginde bilim adamlari ve mühendislerle birlikte oturdu.

Bu organizasyonda devlet baskani, dönüstürme çaginda ana bilimleri gelistirmeye gereksinim oldugunu vurguladi.

Lee ayrica, bilim-is kusagi insa etme projesinin de ulusun temel bilim sektörünün gelistirilmesi için gösterilen çabalarin bir bölümü oldugunu söyledi.

President Lee Myung-bak has promised the government’s active efforts to create a more supportive research environment for scientists and engineers.

The president sat down with scientists and engineers on Thursday, encouraging them at a luncheon to mark the 43rd Science Day.

In the event, the president stressed the need to advance the fundamental sciences in the age of conversion.

Lee also said that the project to build a science-business belt is also part of efforts to develop the nation’s fundamental science sector.

Kore Göçmenlik Servisi Yetkilisi Seok Dong-Hyun (Sagda) ve ABD Gümrük ve Sinir Koruma Yetkilisi Alan Bersin, ABD hükümeti tarafindan göçmenlik hatlarindaki yogunlugu hafifletmek için 2008'de baslatilan "Küresel Giris" diye adlandirilan bir program olan yolcular için havaalaninda insansiz küçük kulübelerin kullanimi konusunda bir anlasma imzaladiktan sonra 21 Nisan'da Washington'da poz verdi. ABD'nin halen Hollanda ve Almanya'yla buna benzer anlasmalari vardir.

Subat'ta Güney Kore'nin bati karasularinda ahsap bir tekneyle sürüklenirken kurtarilan ve sonra geçen ay Güney Kore'den geri gönderilen Kuzey Koreliler'in basin toplantisi, 21 Nisan'da Pyongyang'daki Milli Kültürel Saray'da düzenlendi. Toplam 31 kisiden dördü Güney'deki bir baska ülkenin himayesini talep etti. Güney Koreliler tarafindan kaçirildiklari ve Güney'e iltica etmeleri için baski yapilmaya çalisildigi öne sürülen Kuzey Koreliler, ülkelerine geri gönderildi. Bunlar, (Kuzey) Kore Merkezi Yayincilik Istasyonu'na ait bir videodan ele geçirilmis görüntülerdir.

President Lee calls for fiscal stability

Önümüzdeki yilin milletvekili ve baskanlik seçimleri öncesinde popülist sosyal siyasetlere karsi uyarida bulunan Devlet Baskani Lee Myung-bak, cumartesi günü yetkililere bütçe harcama politikalarindaki dengenin korunmasi tavsiyesinde bulundu.

Mali strateji üzerine yapilan toplantida Lee: "Mali istikrar devam ederken sürdürülebilir büyümede basari saglanmasi ve tüketici fiyatlarinin dengede tutulmasi için iki temel vazife var." dedi.

President Lee Myung-bak on Saturday urged officials to maintain the balance in budget spending policies, warning against populist welfare policies ahead of next year's parliamentary and presidential elections.

"There are two main tasks of achieving sustainable growth and stabilizing consumer prices while maintaining fiscal soundness," Lee told officials at a meeting on fiscal strategy.
