Seoul Büyüksehir Belediyesi'nin düzenledigi 3 günlük festivalde, gençler çektikleri video ve fotograflari sergileyecekler.

Seoul Belediyesi, 10 Eylülde basvurulari sona erdirdi ve persembe gününden itibaren de tüm çevrimiçi medyada sergileyecek.

Super Star K 3. sezonu gibi televizyondaki sarki yarismalarina katilan müzisyenler de festivalin açilis ve kapanis törenlerinde sahne alacaklar.

The Eleventh Korea Youth Media Festival will open at Olympic Park in Seoul on Friday.

For three days, youths from across the country will exhibit videos and photos they’ve produced at the event organized by the Seoul Metropolitan Government.

The Seoul government finished accepting works for the festival on September tenth and will begin screening all the media online from Thursday.

Musicians that have appeared on reality TV singing competitions such as Super Star K Season 3 will perform during the festival’s opening and closing ceremonies.

Güney Kore hükümetinin cumartesi günü yaptigi açiklamalara göre, Japonya'da yasayan ve Güney Kore vatandasligina geçmek isteyen etnik Korelilerin sayisi 2000 yilindan bu yana düsüste.

Su an Japonya'da Kore asilli 700.000 kisi yasamakta. Bunlarin yaklasik 500.000'i Güney Kore vatandasi olmamalari gerçegine ragmen Güney Koreli olduguna inaniyor.

Number of ethnic Koreans acquiring S. Korean citizenship declining

The number of ethnic Koreans in Japan acquiring South Korean citizenship is declining since the 2000s, a government report said Saturday.

Currently, there are about 700,000 Koreans living in Japan. Of them, 500,000 are believed to be South Korean despite the fact that they don't have the Korean citizenship.

Türkiye'nin dogusunda pazar günü meydana gelen 7.2 siddetindeki depremin ardindan pazartesi gecesine kadar (Kore saatiyle) ölü sayisi 200'ü buldu.

Istanbul'da bulunan Kandilli Gözlem ve Deprem Arastirma Merkezi, pazar günü Türkiye'nin güney dogu illerinden olan Van'in 19 kilometre kuzeydogusunda merkez üssü 5 kilometre derinlikte olan güçlü bir deprem meydana geldigini bildirdi.

Rasathane yetkilileri, 1000'e yakin binanin hasar gördügünü ve belki de yüzlerce insanin ölmüs olabilecegini düsünüyor. Yetkililer, ölü sayisinin 500; hatta 1000'e çikabilecegini söyledi.

Türkiye Basbakan Yardimcisi Besir Atalay, Van'da 10 binanin; depremi en agir hisseden bölge olan Ercis'te ise 25 ila 30 binanin çöktügünü belirtti.

Fay hatti üzerinde bulunan Türkiye'de sik sik depremler meydana gelmekte. 1999 yilinda da, Türkiye'nin batisinda 2 siddetli deprem meydana gelmis ve 20.000 can almisti.

More than 200 Killed in 7.2 Quake in Turkey, Up to 1,000 Feared Dead

The death count has climbed to more than 200 as of Monday night, Korea time, after a seven-point-two magnitude quake struck eastern Turkey on Sunday.

The Kandili Observatory and Earthquake Research Institute in Istanbul says a powerful earthquake with an epicenter five kilometers deep erupted 19 kilometers northeast of Van City in Van Province in southeastern Turkey around 1:40 p.m. Sunday. The area is a border region with Iran.

The observatory believes some one thousand buildings are damaged and several hundred people may have died. It says the death toll could reach 500 or even one thousand.

Deputy Prime Minister of Turkey Besir Atalay says ten buildings collapsed in the city of Van and 25 to 30 buildings fell in the town of Ercis which was the hardest hit.

Earthquakes are frequent in Turkey which sits on a fault line. In 1999, two powerful quakes in western Turkey claimed 20-thousand lives.

Fatback Favorite Food Among Foreigners

Yabancilarin Arasinda Tercih Edilen Yemek Fatback

Yabanci turistler favori Kore yemeklerinin fatback oldugunu söyledi.

Seoul sehir yönetimi iki bin turist üzerinde bir anket yapti ve dörtte birinden daha fazlasi, domuzun arka kismindan kesilmis etten yapilan fatbackin en sevdikleri Kore yemegi oldugu cevabini verdi.

Kimchi ve onun çesitleri ikinci sirayi aldi ve onu, pirinç keki ve bahartin dilimlenip kizartilmasiyla yapilan tteokbokki takip etti. Yabanci turistler tarafindan tercih edilen diger Kore yemekleri ise bibimbap, samgyetang, beef ribs, naengmyeon ve kimbap.

Çince konusan turistler arasinda tercih edilen yemek fatback iken kimchi, Ingilizce konusulan ülkelerden gelen turistlerin favori Kore yemegiydi. Japonlar ise haslanmis tavuk ve gingsengden yapilan samgyetangi seviyor.

Ayrica pek çok yabanci turist, sundae ve hotteok gibi sokakta satilan yiyecekleri de sevdiklerini söyledi.

Foreign tourists say fatback is their favorite Korean food.

The Seoul city government conducted a survey on two-thousand tourists and more than a fourth responded that fatback, a cut of meat from the back of the pig, is their favorite Korean dish.

Kimchi and its variations came in second, followed by tteokbokki, a braised dish of sliced rice cake and seasoning. Other Korean dishes favored by foreign tourists are bibimbap, samgyetang, beef ribs, naengmyeon and kimbap.

Kimchi was the most favored Korean dish by tourists from English-speaking countries, while fatback was the favorite food among Chinese-speaking tourists. Japanese tourists liked most samgyetang, a boiled dish of chicken and ginseng.

Many foreign tourists also said that they like foods sold at street vendors, such as sundae and hotteok.
