Prospects of absorption-type unification of 2 Koreas higher than last year!

The prospects of the two Koreas becoming unified through absorption grew from last year while the chances of a negotiated unification declined, according to a survey of security experts released Tuesday.

The result appears to reflect persisting tensions on the divided peninsula.

Busan'da denizati bulundu

Resimde, dalgiç Jeong Kyu-chang'in Busan sahilinin etrafindaki sularda rastladigi bes denizatindan biri görülmekte. Dünya çapinda 50 cins denizati bulunmakta, böylece bunlarin 5 tanesinin Kore Yarimadasi'nin etrafindaki sularda yasadigi ögrenilmis olundu.

Seahorses found in Busan

Seen here is one of five seahorses that skin-scuba instructor Jeong Kyu-chang found in waters off the coast of Busan. There are some 50 species of seahorses around the world, with five of them inhabiting the waters around the Korean Peninsula.

G. Koreli eski beyzbol oyunucu Choi Dong-won'un oglu Choi Ki-ho, 16 Eylül'de Seoul'da düzenlenen cenaze töreninde babasinin resmini tasidi. Choi Dong-won, 14 Eylül'de kansere yenik düserek 53 yasinda yasama veda etti.

Funeral for S. Korea's great baseball player Choi

Choi Ki-ho, the son of South Korean former baseball player Choi Dong-won, carried a picture of his father during his funeral in Seoul. Choi Dong-won died on Sept. 14 of cancer at the age of 53.

Katilimcilar, 2011 ''Merhaba Seoul!'' Yürüyüs Festivali kapsaminda 18 Eylül tarihinde Seoul'ün Cheonggyecheon deresi boyunca gezinti yaptilar. Izlenen yol, Cheonggyecheon deresinden Seoul Ormani'na dogru 12 kilometre doguya uzaniyordu.

Uzun yaz tatilinin bir çok insani yurtdisina seyahat etmeye tesfik etmesiyle birlikte, yurtdisina uçan yolcu sayisi Agustos ayinda rekor bir sayiya ulasti.

Ulasim ve Denizcilik Bakanligi'ndan gelen açiklamalara göre, Agustos ayinda yurtdisina uçan yolcu sayisi 4,23 milyon idi. Bu rakam, geçen yil ayni zamanda yurtdisina uçan yolcu sayisindan %8,8 daha yüksek.

Passengers numbers on international flights hit record

The number of passengers using international flights hit a record monthly high in August as long summer holidays encouraged many people to travel overseas.

According to the Ministry of Transport and Maritime Affairs, the number of people taking international flights was 4.23 million last month, up 8.8 percent from a year earlier.

Activists called for import ban on Japanese farm, fishery goods

A environmental group hold a rally in Seoul on Sept. 20 to demand the government place an import ban on farm and fishery products from Japan. Members claimed Japanese farm and fishery goods may have been contaminated with radioactive materials following the radioactive leakage at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant.

G.Koreli Dini Liderler Çarsamba Günü Kuzey Yolcusu

Güney Kore'nin en genis yedi dini grouplarindan 24 üyeli bir delegasyon ekibi çarsamba günü Kuzey Kore'yi ziyaret edecek.

Dört günlük seyahatleri boyunca Kore Din Konferansi'nin Güney Kore ekibi Pyeongyang ve Çin sinirindaki Baekdu Dagi'ni ziyaret edecekler.

Grup persembe günü Kuzey Kore Din Konferansi'yla iki Kore'nin uzlasma, ittifak kurma ve baris içinde yeniden birlesmesi için bir ayin ve toplanti düzenleyecek.

A 24-member delegation representing South Korea’s seven largest religious groups will visit North Korea on Wednesday.

During their four-day stay, the South Korean delegation of the Korean Conference of Religion for Peace will visit Pyongyang and Mount Baekdu near the Chinese border.

On Thursday, the group will hold a prayer service and meeting with the North’s Korean Conference of Religion to promote compromise, unity and peaceful reunification of the two Koreas.
