Park Bill Gates ile Görüştü

Güney Kore Devlet Başkanı Park Geun-hye 22 Nisan 2013 tarihinde Seoul başkanlık ofisi Cheong Wa Dae'de Microsoft'un kurucusu Bill Gates ile tokalaşırken görülüyor. Gates, 20 Nisan tarihinden bu yana Güney Kore'de üç günlük bir gezide. Üniversite öğrencileri, Samsung Electronics Şirketi üst yöneticileri ve milletvekilleri ile bir araya geldi. Park ve Gates'in, yeni pazarlarda iş yaratmak için bilişim ve iletişim ile mevcut sanayiyi yakınlaştıran "yaratıcı ekonomi" üzerine konuştukları açıklandı.

Başkan Park Geun-hye 22 Nisan günü başkanlık ofisi Cheong Wa Dae'de kıdemli başkan yardımcılarına konuştu. O Kuzey sınır kasabası Kaesong'da ortak sanayi kompleksinde faaliyet gösteren Güney Koreli firmalar için tedbirlerin ele alınması hakkında yardımcılara talimat verdi. Güney Koreli firmalar hükümete vergi indirimi, kredi garanti ve diğer avantajları sağlaması için talepte bulundu. Kuzey Kore Kaesong kompleksinden 53.000 işçi her çekerek orada 123 Güney Kore fabrikasının operasyonlarını askıya almaya zorluyor.

She instructed aides to come up with measures to help South Korean firms operating in the joint industrial complex in the North's border town of Kaesong. South Korean firms have demanded that their government provide them with tax breaks, credit guarantees and other benefits. Pres. Park to Speak at Joint Session of US Congress

Devlet Başkanı Park ABD Kongresi'nin Ortak Oturumunda Konuşma Yapacak

Devlet Başkanı Park Geun-hye gelecek ay Washington'a yapacağı gezi sırasında ABD Kongresi'nin ortak oturumunda konuşma yapacak.

Başkanlık ofisi Park'ın ABD Temsilciler Meclisi Başkanı John Boehner'in daveti üzerine 8 Mayıs'ta Kongre'de konuşma yapacağını açıkladı.

Park konuşmasında 60 yıllık Güney Kore-ABD ittifakını değerlendirecek, Kore Yarımadası ve Kuzeydoğu Asya için barış ve işbirliğini geliştirme yolları üzerine konuşma yapacak. Ayrıca Güney Kore'nin siyaset, ekonomi, toplum ve kültür gelişmelerini tanıtacak.

Park'ın konuşması Güney Koreli bir başkan tarafından Kongre'de yapılacak altıncı konuşma olacak. En son konuşmayı Ekim 2011'de eski Devlet Başkanı Lee Myung-bak yapmıştı.

Başkanlık ofisi, Washington'ın Park'ın davetini uzatarak Güney Kore-ABD ittifakınının 60. yıl dönümüne ve ABD'ye Güney Kore'nin ilk kadın başkanı tarafından yapılan ziyarete önem verdiğini açıkladı.

President Park Geun-hye will speak at a joint session of the United States Congress early next month during a trip to Washington.

The presidential office said Tuesday that Park will address Congress on May eighth on the invitation of U.S. House of Representatives Speaker John Boehner.

In the speech, Park will evaluate the 60-year-old South Korea-U.S. alliance and talk about ways to promote peace and cooperation on the Korean Peninsula and in all of Northeast Asia. She will also introduce advancements in South Korea’s politics, economy, society and culture.

Park’s speech would be the sixth to be delivered at Capitol Hill by a South Korean president. The most recent address was by former President Lee Myung-bak in October 2011.

The presidential office said that Washington apparently took into consideration the importance of the 60th anniversary of the South Korea-U.S. alliance and the significance of the visit to the U.S. by South Korea’s first female president when it extended the invitation to Park.

Park Google'ın Kurucusu İle Görüştü

Güney Kore Devlet Başkanı Park Geun-hye 26 Nisan günü Seoul'da bulunan başkanlık ofisi Cheong Wa Dae'de Google kurucusu Larry Page ile tokalaştı. Onlar Park'ın yeni pazarlar ve iş yaratmak için bilişim ve iletişim ile mevcut sanayi birleştirme "yaratıcı ekonomi" politikasının uygulanmasını üzerinde görüş alışverişinde bulundu. Ayrıca Park politikası için tavsiye almak amacıyla beş gün önce Microsoft'un kurucusu Bill Gates bir araya geldi. Günün erken saatlerinde Page Samsung Electronik Başkan Yardımcısı Lee Jae-yong bir araya geldi.
