Bill Gates Ulusal Meclis'te Ders Verdi

Microsoft'un kurucusu Bill Gates (sağda), 22 Nisan 2013 tarihinde Seoul Ulusal Meclisi'nde Bill & Melinda Gates Vakfı adına özel bir ders verdi. Gates, 20 Nisan tarihinden bu yana Güney Kore'de üç günlük bir gezide. Bu sırada üniversite öğrencileri ve Samsung Electronics Şirketi üst düzey yöneticileri ile bir araya geldi ve daha sonraki gün içerisinde Güney Kore Devlet Başkanı Park Geun-hye ile bir araya gelmesi bekleniyor. Gates, vakfın temel amacının küresel sağlığı geliştirmek ve aşırı yoksulluğu azaltmak olduğunu söyledi.

Gates is on a three-day trip to South Korea from April 20. He met university students and top executives of Samsung Electronics Co. and is scheduled to meet South Korean President Park Geun-hye later in the day. The Gates foundation's primary aim is to globally enhance healthcare and reduce extreme poverty.

Güney Kore Devlet Başkanı Park Geun-hye 22 Nisan 2013 tarihinde Seoul başkanlık ofisi Cheong Wa Dae'de Microsoft'un kurucusu Bill Gates ile tokalaşırken görülüyor. Gates, 20 Nisan tarihinden bu yana Güney Kore'de üç günlük bir gezide. Üniversite öğrencileri, Samsung Electronics Şirketi üst yöneticileri ve milletvekilleri ile bir araya geldi. Park ve Gates'in, yeni pazarlarda iş yaratmak için bilişim ve iletişim ile mevcut sanayiyi yakınlaştıran "yaratıcı ekonomi" üzerine konuştukları açıklandı.

World-Class Materials Unveiled

Birinci Sınıf Malzemeler Sergisi Açıldı

24 Nisan 2013 tarihinde Seoul Kongre Merkezi'nde 2019 yılına kadar tamamlanacak olan temel dünya standartlarında malzeme geliştirmek için yapılan projenin ilk aşamasını gösteren sergiyi açmak için projeye katılan 10 şirketin başkanları kurdele kesti. 2010 yılında Ticaret, Sanayi ve Enerji Bakanlığı tarafından başlatılan "Dünya Birinci Sınıf Malzeme (WPM)" projesi ile ilgili daha güvenli sektörlerde yüzde 30 pazar payı amaçlanmaktadır. Küçük ve büyük 220 şirket ve araştırma merkezi 205 milyar wonluk (183.250.000 milyar dolar) hükümet yatırımı ile son üç yıl içindeki ilk aşamaya katıldı.

Heads of companies which are participating in the government's project to develop 10, core world-class materials by 2019, cut tape to open an exhibition displaying the outcome of the first-phase project at a convention center in Seoul on April 24, 2013. Launched by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy in 2010, the "World Premier Materials (WPM)" project aims to secure more than a 30 percent market share in the related sectors. Some 220 small and large companies and research centers joined the first phase over the past three years with a government investment of 205 billion won (US$183.25 million).
