Seoul Health Centers to Provide Anonymous HIV Testing

Seoul Sağlık Merkezleri İsimsiz HIV Testi Sundu

İsimsiz ve hızlı HIV/AIDS testleri pazartesi gününden itibaren Seoul'deki 25 sağlık merkezinde satışa sunulacak.

Seoul Büyükşehir Hükumeti cuma günü duyuru yaptı, sadece 20 dakikalarını alarak ve yalnızca tek bir damla kan ile merkezlerde testler sağlanacak. Bu testte isim vermek, kimlik numarası yada ev adresi vermek gerekmiyor.

Seoul Hükumeti geçen yıl için dört farklı sağlık merkezinde deneme testleri yapmıştı.

Deneme sayısında testler dokuz buçuk kat atladı. 38’inde teyit edilen enfeksiyon sayısı altı noktada üç kez arttı. Yüzde 90’nında fazlası da hızlı testlerden memnun kaldıklarını ifade etti.

Bazı özel sağlık kurumlarında hızlı testler kullanıldı ama sağlık merkezlerinde hızlı testleri tanıtmada Seoul ülkedeki ilk şehir.

Yaygın olarak kullanılan testlerde 5-10 santimetre küp kan gerektirir ve sonuçların açıklanması 3-10 gün sürer.

Anonymous and rapid HIV/AIDS tests will be offered at 25 health centers in Seoul starting Monday.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced on Friday that the centers will provide tests taking just 20 minutes and requiring only a single drop of blood. Those getting tested will not need to reveal their name, ID number or home address.

The Seoul government operated trial tests in four health centers last year.

During the trial the number of tests jumped nine-and-a-half times. The number of confirmed infections also grew six-point-three times to 38. Over 90 percent of those tested expressed satisfaction with the rapid tests.

Some private medical institutions use the rapid tests, but Seoul is the first city in the nation to introduce the swift tests in its health centers.

Commonly administered tests require five to ten cubic centimeters of blood and take three to ten days for results.
