Activist Group Opposes Nuclear Reactor Operation

Aktivist Grup Nükleer Reaktör Faaliyetine Karşı Çıktı

Uluslararası çevreci grup olan Greenpeace’in bir üyesi 3 çalışanın hayatını kaybettiği gaz sızıntısı kazasının olduğu Aralık ayından beri faal olmayan Shin Kori-3 reaktörünün faaliyetine geçit vermemek ve Güney Kore’nin nükleer gözlemcisi olan Nükleer Emniyet ve Güvenlik Komisyonu’nu talep etmek için 23 Nisan 2015’te Seoul’de eylem yaptı.

Sağlık Bakanı Moon Hyung-pyo (sağda)31 Mayıs 2015 tarihinde Orta Doğu Solunum Yetmezliği Sendromu (ODSYS) salgını ile ilgili en son güncellemeler hakkında gazetecilere konuştu. Pazar günü itibariyle ülkede 15 hasta vardı.

2 More Cases Confirmed, MERS Patients Rise to 15

2 Vaka Daha Kesinleşti, ODSS Hastası Sayısı 15’e Ulaştı

Bir gece içinde iki vakaya daha Orta Doğu Solunum Sendromu (ODSS) teşhisi koyularak, ODSS hastası sayısı Güney Kore’de pazar günü itibariyle 15’e ulaştı.

Sağlık uzmanları, her ikisi de 30 yaşlarında erkek olan 2 yeni teşhis edilen vakadan ilkinin Mayıs 15 ile 17 arasındaki ilk ODSS hastasıyla aynı koğuşta kaldığını, diğerinin ise hasta olan annesi ile ilgilenirken aynı anda hastanede bulunduğunu söyledi.

Toplamdaki 15 hastadan 12’si, ülkenin ilk ODSS teşhisinin konulduğu hastanede rapor edildi.

Sağlık ve Refah Bakanlığı, bu hastaların da ilk ODSS hastasıyla bağlantısı olduğunu inanıldığını ve üçüncü bir bulaşmanın söz konusu olmadığını söyledi.

Bakanlık ayrıca, kasten hastalıkla ilgili asılsız söylentiler çıkaranlara karşı, polis incelemesi de dâhil, sert tedbirler alacağına yemin etti.

Two more cases of Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) have been confirmed overnight bringing the number of MERS patients in South Korea at 15 as of Sunday.

Health authorities said that one of the two newly confirmed cases, who are both men in their 30s, shared the same hospital ward with the first MERS patient between May 15 and 17 while the other man provided care for his ill mother at the hospital around the same time.

Of the total 15 patients, 12 were reported in the hospital where the country’s first MERS case was confirmed.

The Health and Welfare Ministry said that these patients were believed to have contracted the virus from the first MERS case, so there are no cases of tertiary transmission.

The ministry also vowed to take "stern" action, including police investigation, against those who intentionally spread groundless rumors about the disease.

Sağlık yetkilileri, virüsün beşten daha fazla kişiye bulaştığını ve otuz kişiye ulaştığını doğruladı.
