KOSPI rises despite N. Korea's rocket launch

KOSPI Kuzey Kore'nin Roket Atışına Rağmen Yükseldi

Kore Birleşik Hisse Senedi Fiyatları Endeksi (KOSPI), 12 Aralık günü Kuzey Kore'nin son roket atışına rağmen 10,82 puan kazanarak 1,975.44'e ulaştı. Günün erken saatlerinde komünist ülke, Kuzey Pyongan Eyaletinin Cholsan ilinde bulunan Sohae Uzay Merkezinde füze testi olmadığını ancak Kwangmyongsong-3'ü yörüngeye koymak için dizayn edildiğini belirterek Unha-3 roketini fırlattı. Kuzey, roketin fırlatılmasından kısa bir süre sonra Kwangmyongsong uydusunun başarıyla yörüngeye konulduğunu açıkladı.

The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) gained 10.82 points to 1,975.44 in spite of North Korea's latest rocket launch on Dec. 12, 2012. Earlier in the day, the communist country fired off the Unha-3 rocket at the Sohae Space Center in Cholsan County, North Pyongan Province, asserting the rocket was not for a missile test, but designed to put the Kwangmyongsong-3 into orbit.The North announced soon after the launch that the rocket successfully put the Kwangmyongsong-3 satellite into orbit.

Korea's trade surplus hits 5-month high in Nov.

Kore'nin Ticaret Fazlası Kasımda 5 Ayın En Yüksek Değerine Ulaştı

Gümrük idaresi pazar günü Güney Kore'nin ticaret fazlasının çoğunlukla yüklenmiş petrol ürünleri, yarı iletkenler ve mobil iletişim elemanların artışıyla Kasım ayında beş ayın en yüksek değerine ulaştığını açıkladı.

Kore Gümrük Servisine raporuna göre, ülke ticaret fazlası %46 yükselerek US$4.38 milyar oldu. Rakam hazirandaki $5.1 milyardan sonraki en yüksek değer.

South Korea's trade surplus soared to a five-month high in November, driven mostly by increased shipments of oil products, semiconductors and mobile communications equipment, the customs office said Sunday.

According to a report by the Korea Customs Service, the country's trade surplus surged 46 percent on-year to US$4.38 billion. The amount is the biggest since $5.1 billion in June.
