Yargıtay Hakim Adayları Belli Oldu
Görev süreleri 10 Temmuzda sona erecek olan 4 Yargıtay hakiminin yerine 13 aday başvurdu.
Hakim adaylık komitesi cuma günü aday listesini onayladı ve Yargıtay Başhakimi Yang Seung-tae’ye teslim etti. Yang, atama için isimleri Devlet Başkanı Lee Myung-bak’a sunmadan önce listeyi 4’e düşürecek.
Adaylık komitesi başkanı Chang Myung-su, adayların mal varlıkları, vergi ödemeleri, askerlik hizmetleri ve dürüstlüklerinin yanı sıra nitelik ve yeteneklerini de incelediklerini söyledi.
Adaylar arasında, Seoul Batı Bölgesi Mahkemesi ve Ulsan Bölge Mahkemesi başkanları ve Mahkeme İdaresi başkan adayı da bulunuyor ve tümü erkek.

Thirteen candidates have been nominated for the positions of four Supreme Court justices whose terms will come to a close on July tenth.
The nomination committee for the justices confirmed the candidate list on Friday and handed it over to Yang Seung-tae, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. Yang will shorten the list down to the final four before turning in the names to President Lee Myung-bak for appointment.
Chang Myung-su, head of the nomination committee, said that they have screened the qualifications and abilities of the candidates as well as their assets, tax payments, military service and integrity.
The candidates are all men, including the heads of the Seoul Western District Court and the Ulsan District Court, and the deputy minister of the Court Administration.
