Japonya’nın Kore Yarımadası’nda Toplu Öz Savunma Konusunda Hak Kullanmak için Seoul’ün Onayına İhtiyacı var

Resmi yetkili, Washinton’a savaş muhabirleri ile toplantısında, her ulusun kendini savunma kolektif hakkı hakkına sahip olduğunu Birleşmiş Milletler Sözleşmesi’nde beyan edilerek söyledi.
Resmi yetkili, ABD tarafının Seoul hükümetinin duruşunu anladığını ve Japonya’nın şeffaf bir savunma politikası uygulaması gerektiğini vurguladı.

A high-ranking government official says that the Seoul government conveyed its position regarding the revised U.S.-Japan Defense Cooperation guidelines.
In early October, the U.S. and Japan revised a bilateral security treaty in which the U.S. endorsed Japan’s pursuit of its right to collective self-defense.
The official said in a meeting with correspondents to Washington that each nation is entitled to the right to collective self-defense as manifested in the United Nations Charter but he added if Japan’s right infringes upon the South Korean sovereignty, it needs consent from South Korea.
The official said that the U.S. side understands the Seoul government’s stance and stressed that Japan should come up with a transparent defense policy.
