Cold Snap Continues to Grip Nation
Soguk Hava Dalgasi Ülkeyi Sarmaya Devam Ediyor
Sicakliklar çarsamba günü yeniden düstügünden Güney Kore'de dondurucu hava kesilmiyor.
Seoul'de sabah sicakligi -11.8, Daegwallyeong'da -18.3 ve Gwangju'da -8 derecede kaldi. Güney bölgelerde sabah sicakliklari sifirin altinda 10 dereceye kadar düstü.
Seoul'de -4 dereceye ulasmasi beklenen en yüksek sicaklikla birlikte ülkenin çogu kesiminde ögleden sonraki sicakliklar sifirin altinda kalacak.
Soguk havanin persembe gününden itibaren yavasça isinmasi beklenirken ülkenin, haftanin geri kalaninda dondurucu soguklari yasamasi tahmin ediliyor.
Bu sirada, Jeolla Eyaletinin güney kiyi bölgeleri ve Jeju Adasi için yogun kar yagisi uyarisinda bulunuldu.
Chungcheong ve Jeolla Eyaletleri çarsamba günü 1 ile 5 cm kar görecekken Jeju'nun daglik kesimlerinin 5 ile 20 cm kar görmesi bekleniyor. Seoul ve Gyeongsang Eyaletinin iç bölgeleri 1 cm'den az kar görecek.

Freezing weather won't let up in South Korea as temperatures fell to new lows on Wednesday morning.
Morning lows stood at minus eleven-point-eight degrees Celsius in Seoul, minus 18-point-three degrees in Daegwallyeong and minus eight degrees in Gwangju. The southern regions saw morning lows plunge to ten below zero.
Afternoon highs will remain below zero in most parts of the country, with the high in Seoul expected to reach minus four degrees Celsius.
Though the cold weather is expected to warm up slightly from Thursday, the nation is expected to continue seeing freezing temperatures throughout the rest of the week.
Meanwhile, a heavy snowfall advisory has been issued for the southern coastal regions of the Jeolla provinces and Jeju Island.
The mountainous regions of Jeju are expected to get five to 20 centimeters of snow, while the Chungcheong and Jeolla provinces will see one to five centimeters of snow on Wednesday. Seoul and the inland areas of the Gyeongsang provinces will see less than one centimeter of snow.
