Wednesday Marks Coldest Day This Fall

Çarsamba Bu Sonbaharin En Soguk Günü Oldugunu Gösteriyor

Sicakliklar, sifir derecenin altinda düstü, pek çok iç kesimlerde çarsamba günü, yine bu sonbaharda en soguk gün oldugunu gösteriyor.

Gangwon ilindeki Daegwallyeong dag geçidi, soguk ve kuru hava, güney iç bölgelerde don görüldügü gecede Kore Yarimadasi'na girdikten sonra buz olusumunu gördü.

Ayrica baskent, soguk havayi çarsamba sabahi gördü. Seoul'de bu sezon kaydedilmek üzere sabah düsügü dört santigrat dereceye kadar düstü.

Kore Meteoroloji Idaresi, persembe sabahinin da serin olacagini tahmin ediyor, fakat sicakliklar ögleden sonra yükselmeye baslayacak.

Temperatures plunged below zero degrees Celsius in many inland areas Wednesday marking the coldest day yet this fall.

The Daegwallyeong mountain pass in Gangwon Province saw the formation of ice after cold dry air entered the Korean Peninsula overnight while frost was spotted in southern inland areas.

The capital city also saw cold weather on Wednesday morning. Morning lows in Seoul fell to four degrees Celsius, the lowest yet to be recorded in the city this season.

The Korea Meteorological Administration forecast that Thursday morning will be chilly as well, but temperatures will begin to rise in the afternoon.
