Güney Kore'nin ulusal bayan körling takimi, tarihte ilk kez dünya bayan körling sampiyonasinda final mücadelesini kazandi.

Kore takimi, Isviçre karsisinda kaybetmesinin fakat Rusya'yi yenmesinin ardindan, 8-3 rekorla bitirmek üzere Kanada'daki zaferleriyle ön turlari geçti.

Güney Kore, Kanada ve Isviçre ile geriye kalan ikincilik mücadelesi oyunlarinda sonuç ne olursa olsun Isveç ile birlikte finalde yerini saglamlastirdi.

South Korea’s national women’s curling team has earned a playoff berth in the women’s world curling championship for the first time in history.

Team Korea capped its preliminary rounds in Canada with victories to finish with an 8-3 record, after losing against Switzerland but defeating Russia.

South Korea has secured its spot in the playoffs along with Sweden regardless of the outcome in remaining games with runner-up Canada and Switzerland.

Burada, Golf Digest'in ABD disindaki dünyanin ilk 100 golf sahasi listesine aldigi Güney Kore'nin en güneyindeki tatil adasi Jeju'da bulunan Nine Bridges Golf Kulübünü görüyorsunuz. Nine Bridges, 203 ülkedeki 11,426 kulüp arasinda 33. sirada yer aldi.

Kia Tigers'in efsanevi eski oyuncusu Lee Jong-beom, görevini birakmasi adina 5 Nisan 2012'de Seoul'de düzenlenen bir basin konferansi sirasinda gözyaslarina hakim olamadi. 41 yasindaki eski dis saha oyuncusu, .297 vurus ortalamasiyla 510 top çalma, 730 vurma kosusu, 194 sayi vurusu ile 1797 vurusluk rekorla kariyerini noktaliyor. Kulüp, oyuncunun serefine 7 numarali formayi kaldirma karari aldi.

Legendary Kia Tigers veteran Lee Jong-beom sheds tears during a press conference in Seoul on April 5, 2012, to mark his retirement, At the age of 41, the veteran outfielder walks away with a record of 1,797 hits, 194 home runs, 730 runs batted in (RBI) and 510 stolen bases with a .297 batting average. The club has made a decision to retire his uniform number, No. 7, in honor of the player.

Güney Kore 1. Uluslararasi Escola Turnuvasi'ni Kazandi

Güney Kore gençler futbol takimi, çarsamba günü FC Barcelona'yi maglup ederek Uluslararasi Escola Turnuvasi'nda birinci oldu.

Güney Kore Barselona takimi, ev sahibi U-8 takimlarini final maçinda Kim Min-woo ve Kang Yoon-gyu'nun birbiri ardina attigi gollerle 2-1 maglup etti.

Içlerinde Güney Kore, Ispanya, Japonya ve Brezilya'nin da bulundugu dünya çapindaki 9 ülkeden gelen 53 takim turnuvada yer aldi.

South Korea's youth soccer team won first place in the first International Escola Tournament hosted by FC Barcelona on Thursday.

The South Korea Barcelona team won against the home team 2-to-1 in the final match among U-8 teams, thanks to two consecutive goals scored by Kim Min-woo and Kang Yoon-gyu.

Fifty-three teams from nine countries around the world, including South Korea, Spain, Japan and Brazil took part in the tournament.
