S.Korea to Promote Volleyball Exchanges with China, Japan

G. Kore, Çin ve Japonya Ile Voleybol Borsalarini Destekliyor

Eski Baskanlik Personel Sefi Yim Tae Hee, içinde G. Kore, Çin ve Japonya'nin da yer alacagi voleybol maçlarina tesvik için çabaladiklarini, spor borsalari araciligiyla ülkelerin iliskilerini ilerletmeye yardimci olduklarini belirtti. Yim simdilerde Kore Voleybol Dernegi Baskani olarak hizmet veriyor.

Eski Baskanlik Personel Sefi KBS ile gerçeklestirdigi bir telefon röportajinda, voleybolda iki ülkenin borsa rakamlarini yükseltme yollarini Çin Voleybol Ligi ile görüsmek üzere Pekin'i ziyaret ettigini söyledi. Ayrica, Güney Kore ve Çin voleybol dernekleri çalisma yetkililerinin de degisim programlari hazirlamak için çalisacagini sözlerine ekledi.

Former presidential chief of staff Yim Tae-hee says that he is pushing to hold volleyball matches in which teams from South Korea, China and Japan will compete, helping to boost the nations’ relations through sports exchanges. Yim now serves as the chairman of the Korea Volleyball Association.

The former presidential chief of staff said in a phone interview with KBS that he recently visited Beijing to meet with figures in the Chinese volleyball league to discuss ways to promote the two countries’ exchanges in volleyball. He added that working-level officials from South Korean and Chinese volleyball associations will work to draw up exchange programs.

Big 3 Broadcasters Agree on Joint Broadcasting of London Olympics

Güney Kore'nin üç büyük yayin sirketi tüm 2012 Londra Olimpiyat Oyunlari'ni 3 istasyondan yayinlamak üzere anlasmaya vardilar.

Sali günü Seoul, Yeouido'daki 63 Binasi'nda düzenelenen bir toplanti sirasinda KBS Baskani Kim In Kyu da dahil olmak üzere üç yayin sirketinin sefleri ortak yayin konusunda bir anlasma imzaladi.

Anlasmaya göre, üç yayin sirketi 12 spor dalini kendi aralarinda paylasarak yayinlayacak. Yayincilarin ikisi Güney Koreli oyuncularin rekabet ettigi final ve yari final maçlari yayinlarken, digeri kaydedilen oyunlari gösterecek.

South Korea’s three major broadcasting companies have reached an agreement which will give all three stations rights to air the 2012 London Olympic Games.

The chiefs of the three broadcasting companies, including KBS President Kim In-kyu, signed an agreement on the joint airing during a meeting at the 63 Building in Yeouido, Seoul, Tuesday.

Under the agreement, the three broadcasters will divide 12 athletic fields among themselves for them to air. Two of the broadcasters will air live the final and semi-final matches in which South Korean players are competing in, and the other one will broadcast recorded games.

World Cup Stadyumu'ndan Daha Iyi Bir Yer Için Vazgeçildi

Güney Kore dünyanin en iyi futbol stadyumlarina sahip olusuyla gurur duymaktadir. Japonya ile birlikte ev sahipligini yaptigi 2002 Dünya Kupasi için on yeni arena insa etti ve tüm turnuva boyunca izleyicilerden sayisiz övgü aldi.

Bu on yil sonrasinda bir K-League ekibi için ideal bir saha oldugu anlamina gelmiyor çünkü sadece bir stadyum dünyanin en büyük ve en prestijli spor olaylarindan biri için uygun bulunuyor.

South Korea takes pride in having built some of the best soccer stadiums in the world. Ten brand new arenas were constructed for the 2002 World Cup, co-hosted with Japan, and all drew praise from the myriad of visitors that enjoyed the tournament.

Ten years on, however, and it is clear that just because a stadium is fit for one of the world’s biggest and most prestigious sporting events, it does not mean it is the ideal home for a K-League team.

Prosecutors in Daegu said Wednesday they have indicted 27 professional baseball and volleyball players, gamblers and gambling brokers on charges of rigging matches in search of gambling dividends.

The indictees include two players from the Seoul-based LG Twins professional baseball team and 12 male and female volleyball players, either active or retired, the Daegu District Prosecutors' Office said.
