Güney Kore Basbakani Kim Hwang-sik'in, Persembe günü Çin'in güney adasinda, Çin Devlet Baskani Hu Jintao ile ülkelerinin ikili iliskilerinin artirilmasi üzerine görüsmek için ile bir araya geldigini, Kim'in bürosu açikladi.

Sali günü Pekin'e giden Kim, Persembe günü baslayan yillik bölgesel ekonomik forumu olan Asya Boao Forumu'na katilmak üzere Hainan Adasi'na uçtu.

South Korean Prime Minister Kim Hwang-sik met with Chinese President Hu Jintao on a southern Chinese island Thursday for discussions on boosting their countries' bilateral relationship, Kim's office said.

Kim, who arrived in Beijing on Tuesday, flew to Hainan Island to attend the Boao Forum for Asia, an annual regional economic forum that kicked off Thursday.

Lee calls for watertight defense posture against N. Korean provocations

(Lee'den Kuzey Kore'nin provokasyonlarina karsi su geçirmez savunma durusu çagrisi)

Devlet Baskani Lee Myung-bak, Persembe günü, komünist milletten gelecek beklenmedik provokasyonlara sadece ön cephelerde degil, ayni zamanda arka derinliklerde de Kuzey Kore'ye karsi su geçirmez bir savunma durusu çagrisinda bulundu.

Lee, Ordu'nun yeni, ikinci operasyon komutani General Cho Jung-hwan'in terfi töreninde "Modern Savas Hali hiçbir savas hattini tanimaz.", "Kuzey Kore ön cephelerde veya arka tarafta ne olursa olsun kiskirtmalari çesitli sekilde baslatmis olabilir. Biz provokasyonlara gelmeyerek herhangi bir müdahaleye, mükemmel bir sekilde hazir olmak zorundayiz." diyerek durumu belirtti.

Lee, ayrica Generalden, kisla askerleri için iyi sartlarin saglanmasi sorumlulugunu üstlenmesini istedi.

President Lee Myung-bak called for a watertight defense posture against North Korea on Thursday, saying the communist nation could launch unforeseen provocations not only on the front lines, but also deep in the rear.

"Modern warfare knows no battle line," Lee said at a promotion ceremony for Gen. Cho Jung-hwan, the Army's new second operations commander. "North Korea could launch various kinds of provocations regardless of on the front lines or the rear. We have to be prepared to respond perfectly whenever and whatever provocations come."

Lee also asked the general to ensure the barracks conditions for troops.

Gov't to allow more Korean students into foreign schools

Hükümetin, 30 ülkenin serbest ekonomik bölgesi içindeki yabanci okullarda, Koreli ögrencilere yasal olarak verilen izin oranini genisletmek amaciyla bir yasa önerisinde bulunacagini, Basbakanlik Persembe günü açikladi.

Mevzuatin daha fazla yabanci yatirimini ve küçük ile orta ölçekli sirketlerin destegini çekmenin yani sira, hükümetin çabalarindan isçi sinifi insanlarin hayatini engelleyici sayilir 48 yönetmeligi kolaylastirmanin ofis planinin bir parçasi olacagi açiklandi.

The government will push for a law revision that would expand to 30 percent the legally permitted ratio of Korean students in foreign schools within the country's free economic zones, the Prime Minister's Office said Thursday.

The legislation was announced as part of the office's plan to ease 48 regulations considered to be hampering the government's efforts to draw more foreign investment and support small- and medium-sized companies as well as the lives of working-class people.

PM Kim Meets with Chinese President
Basbakan Kim, Çin Devlet Baskani Ile Görüstü

Basbakan Kim Hwang-sik, Asya Boao Forumu'nun gerçeklesecegi yer olan Çin'in Hainan Eyaleti'nde tartisma konusu olan ikili meseleler hakkinda görüsmek için Sali günü Çin'in Devlet Baskani Hu Jintao'yu ziyaret etti.

Kim ve Hu, siyaset, ekonomi ve insan kaynaklari alanlarinda isbirligini artirmanin kendi uluslari için gerekli oldugu konusunda ayni fikirdeler.

Hu, görüsmeleri sirasinda Kim'e, Seoul ve Pekin'in ileride üst düzey resmi alisverisi ve karsilikli iletisimi artirmanin tesvik edilmesiyle siyasal güvenlerini olusturmayi umdugunu söyledi. Hu ayrica, serbest ticaret görüsmesine devam etmek için artan çaba da dahil olmak üzere ekonomik ve ticari iliski kosullarinda samimi çalismanin gerektigini vurguladi.

Buna karsilik Kim, serbest ticaret görüsmeleri kosullarina, Seoul'un ilk olarak hassas meseleleri düzenleme üzerinde düsünmeyle bu gibi verimli görüsmeler yapmaya çalisacagini da katarak Hu'nun önerisini tamamen destekledi.

Bu arada Kim, nükleer güç santrallerinin güvenligi konusunda Çin'in dikkat etmesini rica etti. Hu, insa edileceklerin yani sira faal durumda olan nükleer güç santrallerinin güvenligini degerlendirmeye almanin gerektigini söyledi.

Prime Minister Kim Hwang-sik has paid a visit to Chinese President Hu Jintao on Thursday for discussions on contentious bilateral issues in Hainan, China, where the Boao Forum for Asia is taking place.

Kim and Hu agreed on the need for their nations to boost cooperation in the areas of politics, economy and human resources.

During their meeting, Hu told Kim that he hopes Seoul and Beijing would further build their political trust by promoting high-level official exchanges and boosting bilateral communication. Hu also stressed the need to work closer in terms of economic and trade affairs, including accelerating efforts to hold free trade talks.

In response, Kim said he fully supports Hu’s proposals, adding that in terms of free trade talks, Seoul will work to make such talks productive by first holding deliberations on sensitive related issues.

Meanwhile, Kim asked for China’s attention toward safety of nuclear power plants. Hu said there is a need to assess the safety of power plants that are in operation as well as those that are to be built.
