Kurbagalar dün, Kore'nin geleneksel günes takvimine göre böceklerin kis uykusundan uyanmasini ifade eden 'Gyeongchip' gününün arifesinde Gyeonggi, Gwacheon'da yer alan Seoul Hayvanat Bahçesi'ndeki akarsuda görülmüstür. Sicak hava nedeniyle, bazi kurbagalar bu yil Subat ayinin ortasinda ortaya çikmistir.

Frogs made an appearance in the stream of Seoul Zoo in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi, yesterday, on the eve of “Gyeongchip,” the day on Korea’s traditional solar calendar that signifies the awakening of hibernating insects. Due to warmer weather, some frogs were seen in mid-February this year.

Models give out tteok, or rice cakes, and Vita 500 health drinks to passersby yesterday on the streets of Gwanghwamun, central Seoul, to celebrate the drink’s 10th anniversary. Vita 500 is a health and energy drink.
