Space Rocket Moved for Launch

Uzay Roketi Fırlatılmak İçin Taşındı

Kore Uzay Fırlatma Aracı-1'nın Kore Havacılık ve Uzay Araştırma Enstitüsü tarafından 28 Ocak tarihinde çekilen bu fotoğrafında, Güney Kore'nin Naro-1 olarak da bilinen uydu taşıyan roketi, fırlatılması beklenen tarihten iki gün önce Seoul'un yaklaşık 480 km güneyi Goheung'da bulunan Naro Uzay Merkezi'ndeki fırlatma rampasına taşındı. Ülkenin daha önceki iki roket fırlatma girişimi 2009 ve 2010 yıllarında başarısızlıkla sonuçlandı ve üçüncü roket fırlatılması geçen yıl iki kez ertelendi.

In this photo taken on Jan. 28, 2013, by the Korea Aerospace Research Institute, the Korea Space Launch Vehicle-1 (KSLV-1),South Korea's satellite-carrying rocket, is moved to a launch pad at the Naro Space Center in Goheung, some 480km south of Seoul, two days before the country is expected to launch the rocket also known as Naro-1. The country's two earlier rocket launch attempts in 2009 and 2010 ended in failures and its third rocket launch was postponed twice last year.

S. Korea's New Satellite Makes Contact with Ground Station

G. Kore'nin Yeni Uydusu Yer İstasyonu ile Temas Kurdu

Yetkililer 31 Ocak günü, Güney Kore'nin yeni bilim uydusu ile yer istasyonu arasında başarılı irtibat kurulduktan sonra Daejeon şehir merkezinde bulunan Kore İleri Bilim ve Teknoloji Enstitüsü'ndeki Uydu Teknoloji Araştırma Merkezi'nde kutlama yaptı. 03:27:12'de yapılan ilk iletişim teması ile, önceki gün ülkenin ilk uzay roketi Kore Uzay Fırlatma Aracı-1'in fırlatılması tam olarak başarılı oldu. Bilim ve Teknoloji Uydusu-2C'yi taşıyan Naro olarak da bilinen uzay roketi, 30 Ocak günü 16:00'da Güney Kore'nin güney kıyısında Goheung'da bulunan Naro Uzay Merkezi'nden fırlatıldı.

Güney Kore geçtiğimiz hafta, Naro olarak da bilinen roketin ilk aşamasını karşılayan Rusya'nın yardımıyla yörüngeye 100 kilogramlık bir bilim uydusu yerleştirdiği ilk uzay roketini fırlattı.

South Korea's space technology could soon surpass that of North Korea as its recent successful launch of the first space rocket from its own soil will likely spur research and development, experts said Sunday.

Last week, South Korea successfully launched its first space rocket, putting a 100-kilogram science satellite into orbit with the help of Russia that provided the first-stage of the rocket also known as Naro.

Kore İleri Bilim ve Teknoloji Enstitüsü 13 Şubat günü, kablosuz elektrikli trenler için yüksek miktarda güç tedarik edebilecek teknolojiyi Kuzey Chungcheong Eyaleti Osan'da bulunan Kore Demir Yolu Ağı Kurumu üssünde tanıttı. Kore İleri Bilim ve Teknoloji Enstitüsü bu teknolojiyi Kore Demir Yolu Araştırma Enstitüsü ile ortaklaşa geliştirdi.

An international forum on nuclear fusion research will open on Tuesday in Buyeo, South Chungcheong Province.

The Korea Superconducting Tokamak Advanced Research or KSTAR Conference 2013 will attract about 300 fusion researchers from research institutes at home and abroad.

During the two-day conference, the participants will share their research and discuss the future of nuclear fusion.

Seoul Motor Show to Focus on Green Cars

Seoul Motor Şov, Çevreci Arabalara Odaklanacak

Bu yıl çevre dostu yakıt pilli ve elektrikli araçlara dikkat çeken Seoul Motor Şov, Gyeonggi Eyaleti, Goyang'daki KINTEX'te 29 Mart günü başlayıp 11 gün sürecek.

5 Koreli ve 20 yabancı otomobil üreticisi; etkinliğe çoğu ilk kez gösterilecek olan imalatlarını getirecekler.

Ssangyong'un konsept arabası LIV1 ve yolcu arabası Chairman W Summit'in yanı sıra Hyundai'ın spor arabası HND-9 ve kamyonu Trago dünya önünde görücüye çıkacak. Chairman bu yıl seri üretilecek.

2014'te Dünya Ralli Şampiyonasına katılacak olan Hyundai i20 gibi 4 Kore tasarımı ve Volkswagen Golf A7 gibi 11 yabancı araç dahil 15 model Asya galasını yapacak.

Lüks markalarda ise, Maserati bu yıl ilk kez katılımda bulunacak.

Ayrıca 18 model Kore'de ilk kez gösterilecek. Listede; GM Korea'dan Chevrolet Spark elektrikli otomobil gibi 5 yerli otomobil ve Mercedes-Benz A-Class, Toyota RAV4 ve Lexus New IS gibi 13 yabancı model bulunuyor.

The Seoul Motor Show will kick off on March 29 for its 11-day run at KINTEX in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, concentrating this year on eco-friendly fuel-cell and electric cars.

Five Korean and 20 foreign carmakers will bring products to the event, many of which are being shown for the first time.

Hyundai's concept sports car HND-9 and truck Trago will make their world premieres alongside Ssangyong's concept car LIV1 and passenger car Chairman W Summit. The Chairman will be mass-produced this year.

Fifteen models will make their Asia premieres, including four Korean designs such as the Hyundai i20, which will participate in the World Rally Championship in 2014, and 11 foreign cars like the Volkswagen Golf A7.

Of luxury brands, Maserati is taking part for the first time this year.

In addition, 18 models will make their Korean debuts. On the list are five domestic cars, like the Chevrolet Spark electric car by GM Korea, and 13 foreign models including the Mercedes-Benz A-Class, Toyota RAV4 and Lexus New IS.

What Hi-Fi, a tech review magazine based in Britain, gave a five-star rating to UE55F8000, Samsung's flagship LED TV, citing its remarkably crisp and clear picture and slick and intuitive SmartHub design.
