Galaxy Note 8 May Fetch Over 1 Mln Won in S. Korea

Galaxy Note 8, Güney Kore'de 1 Milyondan Fazla Kazanıyor Olabilir

Endüstri kaynakları Pazartesi günü Samsung Electronics Co.'nun Galaxy Note 8'in 1,09 milyon won (962 $) fiyat etiketiyle gelmesinin beklendiğini söylediler ve cihazın öncekilerin üzerine çıktığını açıkladılar.

Kaynaklara göre, 64 GB'lık Galaxy Note 8'in fabrika çıkış fiyatı 1,09 milyon won, 256 GB'lık versiyonun fiyatının 1,25 milyon won olması bekleniyor. Şanssız Galaxy Note 7, 64GB kapasitesiyle, 989.800 won ile gelmişti.

Samsung Electronics, fiyat etiketinin Perşembe günü açıklanacağını söyleyerek fiyatın kesinleşmediğini açıkladı.

Samsung Electronics'in mobil ticaret başkanı Koh Dong-jin, daha önce yaptığı açıklamada, Güney Kore'deki satış fiyatının 1 milyon won'un altına düşürmenin "son derece zor olacağını" söyledi.

Geçen ay Galaxy Note 8'in sergilendikten kısa bir süre sonra Koh yaptığı açıklamada , fiyatı psikolojik açıdan önemli seviyede daha düşük tutmak istediğini söyledi.

LG Electronics Inc'in yeni LG-V30 modelinin ABD'de 749.99 $ fiyat etiketi ile gelmesi beklenirken Endüstri gözlemcileri, etiketin 900.000 won'dan daha yüksek olmasını beklemekle birlikte, şimdiye kadar Güney Kore fiyatının hiçbir ayrıntısı açıklanmadı.

Galaxy Note 8'in ön siparişleri Perşembe günü başlayacak ve cihaz ön siparişini verenlere 15 Eylül'de ürünü sağlayacak.

Galaxy Note 8'in resmi sürümü 21 Eylül tarihinde olacak. LG Electronics Inc'in ,yeni ürününün de aynı gün resmi satışları başlayacak.

Samsung Electronics Co.'s Galaxy Note 8 is expected to come with a price tag of 1.09 million won (US$962) here, industry sources said Monday, hovering above that of the device's predecessor.

According to the sources, the 64 GB Galaxy Note 8 is expected to come with a factory price of 1.09 million won here, while that of the 256-GB edition is expected to be priced at 1.25 million won. The ill-fated Galaxy Note 7 with a 64GB capacity came with a tag of 989,800 won.

Samsung Electronics said it has not finalized the price, saying the price tag will be revealed on Thursday.

Koh Dong-jin, president of Samsung Electronics' mobile business, said earlier it will be "extremely difficult" to keep the price lower than 1 million won in South Korea, expressing an apology for his earlier statement.

Shortly after the showcase of the Galaxy Note 8 last month, Koh had said he wanted to keep the price lower than the psychologically significant level.

LG Electronics Inc.'s new phablet, the LG V30, is expected to come with a price tag of $749.99 in the United States. No details of the South Korean price have been revealed so far, although industry watchers expect the tag to be higher than 900,000 won.

Preorders for the Galaxy Note 8 will kick off on Thursday, providing the devices to early adopters on Sept. 15.

The official release for the Galaxy Note 8 is slated for Sept. 21. LG Electronics Inc. also plans to start official sales of its new phablet the same day.

Hyundai Unveils Localized Truck in Moscow

Hyundai, Moskova'da Yerelleştirilmiş Kamyonunu Tanıttı

Güney Kore'nin önde gelen otomobil üreticisi Hyundai Motors Co, Salı günü yaptığı açıklamada Rus ticari araç sergisinde yerel Pazar için tasarlanan kamyoneti tanıtacağını söyledi.

Hyundai, Moskova'da bu hafta boyunca sürecek olan 2017 Comtrans Ticari Araçlar Otomobil Fuarı'nda 2.5 litrelik bir dizel motorlu kamyonet olan HD36L'yi tanıtacak.Şirketin yaptığı açıklamaya göre, bu kamyonet Güney Kore ‘de mevcut olan Mighty kamyondan yola çıkarak yapıldı.

Şirketten bir sözcü yaptığı açıklamada “HD36L kamyonun ağırlığı 3.6 ton, yani 7 tonluk Mighty kamyonunkinden daha hafif. Yeni kamyonet için Latin Amerika, Orta Doğu ve Güneydoğu Asya ülkelerinin kamyonet pazarlarını hedefliyoruz.” Diye söyledi.

Büyük Çin ve ABD pazarlarında azalan satışlarla karşı karşıya kalan Hyundai, kısa süre önce kar-zarar hanesini desteklemek için ürün yelpazesini çeşitlendirme çabalarını hızlandırdı.

South Korea's leading automaker Hyundai Motors Co. said Tuesday it has unveiled a light truck designed for the local market at a Russian commercial car exhibition.

Hyundai will promote the HD36L, a 2.5-liter diesel-powered light truck, at the 2017 Comtrans Commercial Vehicles Auto Show set to run this week in Moscow. The truck is based on the Mighty truck, which is available in South Korea, the company said in a statement.

"The HD36L truck weighs 3.6 tons -- much lighter than the 7-ton Mighty truck. We are targeting the new truck at the light truck markets of Latin America, the Middle East and Southeast Asian countries," a company spokesman said.

Faced with declining sales in its major Chinese and U.S. markets, Hyundai has recently stepped up efforts to diversify its product lineup to support its bottom line.

Samsung Says Galaxy Note 8 Preorders Setting New Records in U.S.

Samsung Electronics Co., Pazar günü yaptığı açıklamada, Galaxy Note 8'in ön siparişlerinin ABD'de yeni rekorlar elde ettiğini söyledi.

Akıllı telefonların dünyadaki en büyük üreticisi, 24 Ağustos tarihinden beri aldığı siparişlerin prim notunun bugüne kadar kaydedilen en yüksek değer olduğunu söyledi.

Şirket, önlem gereği kesin rakamları açıklamadı ancak şarj olurken yanmaya başlamasından dolayı raflardan tamamen çıkarılan bir önceki Note serisi Note 7'deki çöküşün ardından tüketicinin tepkisinden dolayı şaşırdıklarını açıkladı.

Amiral gemisi Samsung'un ilk çift mercekli kurulumunu cihazın üst kısmında sunuyor ve gelişmiş S Pen özellikleriyle geliyor. Samsung Electronics Co. said Sunday that preorders for its Galaxy Note 8 are setting new records in the United States.

The world's largest manufacturer of smartphones said orders received since Aug. 24 are the highest tallied to date for its premium phablet Note line.

The company did not disclose exact numbers citing policy but said it was buoyed by the consumer response after the debacle of the previous year's Note 7 that was taken off the shelves completely after some caught fire while being recharged.

The flagship comes with Samsung's first ever dual-lens setup on its top of the line device and advance stylus S Pen. It has a vibrant and contrasty curved 6.3-inch AMOLED display that has been rated as water and dust resistant, with users given the option to expand storage via SD cards in addition to internal memory. In the U.S., the base 64 gigabyte internal storage model comes with a price tag of around $929, although this does vary with the local carrier.

Samsung said those that preordered the device will be able to get it starting Sept. 15.

The announcement comes as the South Korean tech giant said it received about 400,000 preorders in South Korea on Friday, the first day it started taking purchase requests.

Besides the large U.S. market, where Samsung generally trails its arch-rival Apple, the tech giant said it has opened a Galaxy experience studio in Singapore so people can check out for themselves the Note 8, as well as other latest gadgets. These include the Gear Sports smartwatch; its latest sports oriented band, the Gear Fit 2 Pro; and the Gear IconX cordless earbuds.
