KCC to Accept Applications for Hangeul Domain

KIK Kore Alfabesi Içeren Alan Adlari Uygulamasini Onaylayacak

Kore Iletisim Komisyonu (KIK) nokta-Kore alan adlarinin Kore alfabesi Hangeul'la yazilmasi uygulamasini onaylayacak.

KIK persembe günü, gelecek pazartesiden ay sonuna kadar alan adlari uygulamalarini kaldiracaklarini açikladi.

Ikiden fazla kisi ayni alan adina sahip olursa, 20 Eylülde bir kura çekilerek adaletli bir sekilde alan adlari sahiplerini bulacak.

The Korea Communications Commission (KCC) will accept applications for dot-hanguk domains written in the Korean alphabet Hangeul.

The KCC said on Thursday that it will receive applications for domain names from next Monday through the end of the month.

If more than two people apply for the same domain name, the owner will be decided by lottery on September 20th to supply domain names in a fair manner.

NASA'nin Swift yörünge teleskobu kara deligin Günes büyüklügündeki bir yildizi yuttugunu kaydetti.

Yedi Güney Korelinin ve NASA bilim adamlarinin yaptigi arastirmada kara deligin X isinlari ile yildizlari yavas yavas kendine çekip yuttugu bulgusunu paylastilar.

Bilim dergisi "Nature" son bulgulari persembe günü yayinladi.

A giant black hole devouring a star the size of the sun has been recorded by NASA’s Swift orbital telescope.

An international group of researchers comprising seven South Koreans and NASA scientists have been recording the emission of X-rays from the black hole as it slowly consumes the star.

The recent finding was published in the science journal, Nature, on Thursday.

Research In Motion Ltd. began receiving pre-orders for its latest BlackBerry smartphone on Monday in a bid to challenge the success of the Galaxy smartphones and the iPhone in the country's vibrant wireless market.

Launched on Sept. 19 via South Korea's largest carrier SK Telecom, according to the Canadian handset maker.

The latest BlackBerry model will be available through an array of retail channels from a leading online social commerce site to brick-and-mortar stores.

SK E&C, devasa boruyu Birlesik Arap Emirlikleri'ne yollayacak

SK E&C will ship mammoth plant to UAE

Work to load a 93.3-meter distillation tower weighing 1,261 tons onto a freighter beginned at the country's southeastern port of Ulsan. The mammoth facility, manufactured by SK E&C Co., will be delivered to an United Arab Emirates oil refinery in mid-October.

Satelit, Kasim ayinin ortalarinda Rusya'dan firlatilacak. 4 metre uzunlugunda, 2,6 metre çapinda ve 1,4 ton agirligindaki uydu, 6 yil süren ve 240 milyar won'luk masrafi olan bir çalismanin ardindan firlatilmaya hazir hale geldi. Uydu, 5 yil boyunca her gün 15 kez dünyanin etrafinda dönerek cografi resimler çekecek.

Arirang 5 satellite unveiled

The Korea Aerospace Research Institute in Daejeon discloses the Arirang 5 satellite on Aug. 8 ahead of its launch in Russia around mid-November. The satellite, which is 4 meters high, 2.6 meters in diameter and 1.4 tons in weight, has been completed after six years of work with an investment of 240 billion won. It will provide geographical images while rotating the earth 15 times a day for five years.
