Samsung releases Galaxy Note 10.1 in U.S.

Samsung'un Yeni Modeli Galaxy Note 10.1 ABD'de

15 Ağustos 2012 tarihinde Manhattan, New York, Time Warner Center'da modelin piyasaya çıkma töreninde ziyaretçiler Samsung Elektronik Şirketi'nin Galaxy Not 10.1 test etti. Galaxy Not 10.1, 5.3-inç Galaxy Note'un, bir akıllı telefonun ve tablet bilgisayarın bir araya getirilerek büyütülmüş bir versiyonudur. Modellerde kullanıcıların ekran üzerine yazmalarını sağlayan S Pen adında bir kalemi vardır.

Güney Koreli gelişmiş insansı robot HUBO, 16 Ağustos 2012’de, Daejeon şehir merkezinde bulunan Ulusal Bilim Müzesi'nde, insansı robotlar ile ilgili bir sergi açmak için düzenlenen bir etkinlik sırasında, çalışanının emirlerine tepki verdi. 2004 yılında, Kore Bilim ve Teknoloji Geliştirme Enstitüsü tarafından üretilen HUBO, kendi ayakları üzerinde yürüme yeteneğine sahip olan, ülkenin ilk insansı robotudur.

Apple and Samsung Fail to Narrow Differences

Apple ve Samsung Aralarındaki Fikir Ayrılığını Sonlandıramadı

Apple Inc. ve Samsung Electronics Co., ürünlerinde kullanılan patentlerle ilgili anlaşmazlıklarına son verecek herhangi bir uzlaşma sağlayamadı.

21 Ağustosta dava ile ilgili verilen jüri kararının ardından bir sonuca varılacak.

Her iki firmanın yönetim başkanları, anlaşmazlığı sonlandırmak için cumartesi günü toplandı fakat toplantı başarısızlıkla sonuçlandı.

Her iki şirket de toplantının ayrıntılarını açıklamayı reddetti. Toplantı jüri kararından önce ABD Bölge Mahkemesi Yargıcı Lucy Koh tarafından 15 Ağustosta düzenlenmişti.

Apple Inc. and Samsung Electronics Co. were unable to come to an agreement on narrowing their dispute regarding patents used in their products.

With the settlement failure, the case is likely to come to a conclusion after a jury decision regarding the case on August 21.

The chief executives in management from both companies convened on Saturday to attempt to simplify the dispute, but failed.

Both companies declined to disclose details of the meeting. The meeting had been ordered on August 15 by U.S. District Court Judge Lucy Koh before the jury decision.

Russia to Ship Naro Rocket to S. Korea Thursday

Rusya Perşembe Günü Güney Kore'ye Naro Roketi Gönderecek

Rusya'daki Khrunichev Devlet Araştırma ve Üretim Uzay Merkezi, Naro-1 uzay roketinin ilk aşamasının kısa bir süre sonra Güney Kore'ye nakledileceğini söyledi.

Rusya uzay merkezi, perşembe gecesi ilk aşamalı roketin yük sandığına konulacağını ve trenle güney şehri Ulyanovsk'a götürüleceğini açıkladı.

Güney Jeolla Eyaleti, Goheung'da bulunan Naro Uzay Merkezi'ne götürülmeden önce uçak ile Busan'a getirecek.

2004 yılında imzalanan karşılıklı bir anlaşma doğrultusunda, Güney Kore roketin ikinci aşamasının üretiminden ve uzaya fırlatılmasından sorumluyken, Rusya ise Naro roketinin ilk aşamasının üretiminden sorumlu bulunuyor.

Russia’s Khrunichev State Research and Production Space Center says the first stage of the Naro-1 space rocket will be transported to South Korea shortly.

The Russian space center said the first-stage rocket will be sealed in a container Thursday night and moved to the southern city of Ulyanovsk by train.

From there, it will travel to Busan by air before arriving at the Naro Space Center in Goheung, South Jeolla Province.

In line with a bilateral agreement signed in 2004, Russia is responsible for manufacturing the first stage of the Naro rocket, while South Korea is in charge of producing the second-stage rocket and the satellite that will be launched into space on Naro.

Eğitim, Bilim ve Teknoloji Bakanlığı’na göre, cuma günü kamuoyuna duyurulacak olan Bilim ve Teknoloji Uydusu-2C(STSAT-2C) için, Seoul’ün 164 km güneyinde yer alan Daejon’daki Kore İleri Bilim ve Teknoloji Enstitüsü’nde(KİBTE), sevkiyat öncesi bir açılış töreni düzenlenecek.

South Korea will this week unveil a new satellite that it will launch aboard its space rocket later this year, the government said Thursday.

The Science and Technology Satellite-2C (STSAT-2C) will be revealed to the public Friday in a pre-shipment ceremony to be held at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in Daejeon, 160 kilometers south of Seoul, according to the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.

Naro Scientific Satellite Ready For Lift-Off

Naro Bilimsel Uydusu, Havalanmaya Hazır

Araştırmacılar, 23 Ağustos 2012 tarihinde, Seoul’ün 164 km güneyinde yer alan Daejon’daki Kore İleri Bilim ve Teknoloji Enstitüsü'nün(KİBTE) Uydu Teknolojisi Araştırma Merkezi'ndeki Naro bilimsel uydusunu denetlediler. KİBTE’nin geliştirdiği Bilim ve Teknoloji Uydusu-2C(STSAT-2C), Güney Kore’nin uzay aracı olan Kore Uzay Fırlatma Aracı-1’e ya da Naro-1’e yüklenecek olan uydunun, ekim ayında açılması planlanmaktadır. 100 kg’lık uydu, bir yıldan daha az bir ömre sahip olan bir test uydusu, büyük ölçüde ülkenin uzaya bir uydu koyabilme yeteneğini doğrulamak için tasarlandı.

Samsung Electronics Co., gearing up for a continue legal battle against Apple Inc., asked a U.S. federal judge Monday to lift a ban on the sales of Galaxy 10.1 tablet computer.

The request came as a jury in the Northern District Court of California concluded the Samsung model did not infringe on Apple's patent.
