Some 65,000 Houses to be Demolished in Seoul in 2013

Seoul'daki Yaklasik 65,000 Ev 2013'te Yikilacak

Seoul Büyüksehir Belediyesi, 2013 yilinda baskent çevresindeki 65 bin civarinda evi yikmak için bekliyor.

Sehir yönetimi ayni yil içerisinde dört bin ve 61 bin evin yerine özel sektör ve kamu kuruluslarini yerlerine koymayi planliyor.

Sehir hükümeti cuma günü, iki yili sürecek olan bu yikimdan sonra yerlerine çesitli yeniden yapilandirma projeleri uygulanacak ve yeni sehirler kurulacak.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government is expected to tear down around 65-thousand homes in the capital area in 2013.

That’s around four-thousand more than the some 61-thousand houses the city government plans to supply in the private and public sector that same year.

The city government said Friday that demolition is expected to take place over the next two years to make for various redevelopment projects and the establishment of new towns.

Pop Concert Hall to Open in Olympic Park

Pop Konser Salonu Olimpiyat Parkinda Açilacak

Ülkenin ilk pop konser salonu 22 Haziran’da Seoul’de bulunan Olimpiyat Parki’nda açilacak.

Kültür Bakanligi ve Kore Spor Tanitma Vakfi parkin içerisindeki geçen yil salona bir kapali tenis kortunu açmak için bir proje üzerinde çalisiyorlardi.

On bin metrekarelik alanda, 2400 kisilik ana konser salonu ve bagimsiz gruplar için 240 kisilik küçük bir konser salonu da bulunuyor.

Salon yerden iki katli ve yer altinda da kalici bir pop müzigi tarihi sergisine ve müzik dersleri için çesitli mekânlara da ev sahipligi yapmakta.

The nation’s first pop concert hall will open on June 22nd at Olympic Park in Seoul.

The Culture Ministry and the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation have been working on a project to turn an indoor tennis court within the park into the hall for the past year.

The eleven-thousand square meter space houses a main concert hall with 24-hundred seats and a small concert hall with 240 seats for independent bands.

The hall has two stories above ground and one underground level that is home to a permanent exhibition on the history of pop music and various other space for music classes.

ABD Seoul Büyükelçisi Kathleen Stephens, ülke çapinda bisiklet sürmesi ve yerel kültürün yasatilmasi konularindan dolayi persembe günü Güney Koreli bir televizyon programinda yer aldi.

“Misa Korea” isimli SBS’nin programi, bati sahili boyunca yapacagi 10 günlük bisiklet turunda Stephens’i takip edecek.

Kathleen Stephens, U.S. Ambassador to Seoul, was featured on a South Korean television program Thursday, riding her bicycle through the country and experiencing local culture.

The program on SBS, titled "Miso Korea," followed Stephens on her recent 10-day bicycle tour along the west coast.

K-pop, Korean Language Boom Heats up in Russia

K-Pop ve Korece Rusya’yi Kasip Kavuruyor

Kore Pop Müzigi ya da bir diger deyisle K-Pop’un popülerligi Avrupa’daki basarisinin ardindan Rusya’da yayildi.

Birçok Rus K-Pop hayrani Korece bile ögreniyor.

Yeni baslayan Kore sinifini genç Rus’lar doldurdu. Masalar daha fazla yer saglamak için disari tasindi. Ögrenciler yerlerde ve köselerde duruyorlar. Bu sinif için çok fazla basvuru vardi.

Korece becerilerine göre, Rus gençler Korece sarkilar ve danslar ögrenip çesitli Kore'yle ilgili etkinliklerde K-Pop gösterileri düzenliyorlar.

Ingilizce pop müzikle eglenen gençlik, simdi de Korece sarki sözleri ezberliyorlar.

Korece ögrenmelerinin temel nedeni olarak da K-Pop'u gösteriyorlar.

The popularity of Korean pop music or K-pop has spread to Russia following its success in parts of Europe.

Many Russian fans of K-pop are even learning the Korean language.

A beginner's Korean class is filled with young Russian people. Desks have been moved out to secure more space. Students sit on the floor and stand in corners. There were too many applicants for this class.

Based on their Korean skills, Russian youths learn Korean songs and dance and hold K-pop performances at various Korea-related events.

They used to enjoy English pop songs but they’re now reciting Korean lyrics.

They say K-pop is the main reason why they're learning the language.

Sirket çalisanlarinin verdigi bilgilere göre, sirketin teftis kurulunun yaptigi denetleme sonucu 97 çalisanin is esnasinda online oyun sitelerine girdigi ortaya çikti. Çalisanlar is ortaminda uygunsuz davranistan dolayi cezalandirildi.

Sirket çalisanlarindan birinin teftis kurulunu mesai saatlerinde is yerindeki bilgisayarlarda online bahis oynandigi hakkinda bilgilendirmesi sonucu teftis kurulu geçtigimiz haftalarda denetleme yapmaya baslamisti.

An internal audit by Hyundai Motor Co. revealed that 97 workers have accessed Internet gambling sites at work, leading the company to discipline them for improper use of company computers, corporate officials said.

The audit was launched after the company received a whistle-blower's tip that some employees on production lines were betting online with office computers while they were on the job.
