BTS to Hold Photo Exhibition to Mark 5th Anniversary of Debut

Pazartesi günü Big Hit Şirketi'nin yaptığı açıklamaya göre erkek K-pop grubu BTS çıkışlarının 5. yıldönümü şerefine Seoul'da video ve fotoğraf sergisi düzenleyecek.
BTS'nin sergisinde 7 grup üyesinin albümler üzerinde çalışırken birbirlerini çektikleri fotoğraflar ve grubun çeşitli yönlerini yansıtan video klipler yer alacak.
Korece "Bugün" demek olan "O, Neul" isimli sergi 25 Ağustos'ta başlayacak ve 28 Ekim'e kadar Seoul'daki Sanat Merkezi'nde devam edecek.
Bu, grubun ikinci sergisi. İlki Aralık 2015'te gerçekleşmişti.
Salı gününden itibaren biletler Interpark üzerinden online olarak satılacak. Online olarak alamayan hayranlar ise sergi sitesinden biletleri satın alabilecek.

The K-pop boy band BTS will hold a photo and video exhibition in Seoul marking the fifth anniversary of its debut, its agency Big Hit Entertainment said Monday.
BTS will showcase photos showing them working on albums, photos taken by the seven members themselves and video clips featuring various aspects of the group.
The exhibition, titled "O, Neul," which means today in Korean, will run from Aug. 25 to Oct. 28 at Ara Art Center in Seoul.
It is the band's second exhibition following one held in December 2015.
Tickets will be available online via Interpark starting Tuesday. If the tickets don't sell out online, fans can buy them at the exhibition site.

K-pop boy band GOT7 has appeared on the American morning show "Good Day New York" as the popular septet wrapped up the American leg of their ongoing world arena tour, their management agency said Friday.
Emcees of the FOX5 channel show met GOT7 members ahead of their performance at Barclays Center in the New York City borough of Brooklyn on Wednesday (U.S. time). Brooklyn was the final destination on the North American leg of the group's world tour, "Eyes on You," which previously brought them to Toronto, Los Angeles, Houston following performances in Russia, Germany and France.
The GOT7 members demonstrated a piece of the choreography for their 2018 hit song "Look" and expressed excitement ahead of their second performance in New York, according to JYP Entertainment.
In the U.S., the septet also had interviews with Billboard and J-14 magazine as well as Buzzfeed, according to the management agency.
Following the Barclays Center concert, GOT7 will fly to Latin America to continue on their 17-city tour, starting with Mexico City, followed by Buenos Aires, Santiago as well as Singapore and Hong Kong in August, JYP said.

K-pop superstars BTS will drop a new record late next month, the fourth and the final part of its "Love Yourself" album series, its agency said Tuesday.
"Love Yourself: Answer," set for release on Aug. 24, will be the finale of the four-phase series, which previously brought BTS fans to love's course of thrills and throbbing, followed by disillusionment and breaking.
The upcoming record features the post-breakup moment of throwing off a false ego and facing a genuine self, according to Big Hit Entertainment.
The repackaged record will be a collection of seven fresh tracks plus songs from BTS' previous releases, the management agency said. Reservations for the new album begin on Wednesday.
Right after the release, BTS will go on a world arena tour, which will start on Aug. 25-26 with local concerts and take the septet to 10 foreign cities in North America and Europe.

A special exhibition to mark the 10th anniversary of the popular boy band BIGBANG will make a stop in Shanghai next month, organizers said Thursday.
The autobiographical exhibit titled "BIGBANG10 The exhibition: A To Z" will run at Shanghai's Global Harbor shopping center from Aug. 3 to Oct. 20, YG Entertainment said.
The event was held for the first time in Seoul on August 2016 to shed light on the past 10 years of activities by the boy group since its debut in 2006. Shanghai will be the first destination of the show's world tour after Taipei in June last year.
The exhibition will reflect the past, present and future of the five-member idol group. On display will be collections of BIGBANG's albums, photos, outfits, videos, interviews and music video sets that have been accumulated for the past decade.
In particular, the Shanghai event will have a special section themed on "Flower Road," the last single released by members G-Dragon, Taeyang and Daesung before they joined the Army for their mandatory military service. Visitors can also see images and videos of the group and other items, which have not been shown in previous exhibitions.

Ravi, a member of the K-pop boy band VIXX, will begin his first individual European tour in October, his management agency said Friday.
Ravi will perform in 10 major cities in Europe from late October to mid-November during the tour titled "First Solo Europe Tour 2018," Jellyfish Entertainment said.
The tour will begin in Istanbul on Oct. 27 and will continue in such cities as Madrid, Vienna, Amsterdam, Brussels, Germany's Cologne, London and Paris.
The singer had an individual concert in his home country in January and another in February. Last month, he cemented his position as a solo rapper releasing his third mixtape.

K-pop is taking root in the pop culture scene in Brazil.
This year’s iteration of an annual K-pop competition took place in downtown Sao Paulo on Friday evening.
The event saw 71 teams from across Brazil take part in the preliminary rounds, with 16 teams, eleven dance and five vocal teams, making it through to the main competition.
This year, the K-pop competition was held as an opening event for the 2018 World Pop Festival.
Musicians from around the world performed at the venue, with Korean idol bands such as Black6ix and DIP on the bill.
The chairman of the Korean culture center in Brazil, which hosted the competition, said it was meaningful to hold the show in conjunction with a local music festival, adding that he plans to seek ways to further satisfy the demand for K-pop in the country.
