BTS landed at tenth on the Hot 100 chart released on Tuesday, becoming the first K-pop group to enter the top ten on the chart.
The highly competitive Billboard Hot 100 chart ranks the most popular music in the United States based on radio plays, album sales and streaming activity data.
The only other K-pop act to break into the top ten on the Hot 100 is Psy, who reached number two in 2012 with “Gangnam Style.”
Earlier this week, BTS topped the Billboard 200 album chart with its third album "Love Yourself: Tear" released on May 18th.

Samuel Kim has dropped a dance practice video for "Teenager".
"Teenager" is the title track of the singer's recently released repackaged 2nd mini album, and fans are loving his more grown-up concept. The track was composed by Brave Brothers, and it features 'High School Rapper 2' runner-up Lee Rohan, also known as Webster B.

K-popun ünlü grubu BTS Cuma günü yayınlanan bir KBS TV şovunda yer aldı ve Billboard 200 Grafiği'ne katılarak albümdeki başarı için Başkan Moon Jae-in tarafından erkek grubunu kutlayan bir mesaj yayınlandı.
KBS 'Entertainment Weekly'de görünen BTS, Devlet Başkanının mesajının kendilerini çok şaşırtmış olduğunu açıkladı.
Grubun lideri RM, başkanın mesajda hayranlarının adına "ARMY" adını verdiği için minnettar olmuş olduğunu söyledi.
Ayrıca geçen ay Los Angeles'taki 2018 Billboard Müzik Ödülleri'nde performanslarını yeniden sergilemiş olmalarının şaşırtıcı bir deneyim olduğunu ekledi.
Geçtiğimiz ayın sonlarında Başkan Moon, Billboard 200'ün manşetlerinde bir numaralı sıradaki haberlerinin ardından erkek grubuna bir tebrik mektubu gönderdi.
Kore'den ve dünyanın dört bir yanından kazanmış oldukları sevgi için teşekkür etti ve "müziği seven yedi erkek"i kutladı, ayrıca onların fan kulübü olan ARMY'den de bahsetti.

K-pop sensation BTS appeared on a KBS TV show aired Friday and thanked President Moon Jae-in for his message congratulating the boy band on their album topping the Billboard 200 Chart.
Appearing on KBS' Entertainment Weekly, BTS said they were completely stunned by the president's message.
The group's leader RM said they were particularly grateful that the president mentioned "ARMY," the name of their fan club, in the message.
He also said their performance at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards in Los Angeles last month was a bewildering experience.
Late last month, President Moon sent a letter to the boy band after news of their number one ranking on the Billboard 200 made headlines.
He thanked them for spreading joy across Korea and around the world and congratulated the "seven boys who love music" and also mentioned their fan club ARMY.
BTS's latest album "Love Yourself: Tear" debuted at number one on Billboard's main albums chart on May 27th. Its title track "Fake Love" also landed at tenth on the Hot 100 chart, the first K-pop group to achieve the feat.

Önceki şarkısını yayınladıktan sonra bir yıl ara veren başarı K-pop kız grubu BLACKPINK cuma günü "Ddu Du Ddu-Du" isimli yeni bir EP bıraktı. Şarkı, ateş etme sesiyle örtüşen parmak silahı koreografisiyle çıkış yaptı.
Yeni EP "Square Up", 4lü kadın grubunun, yaklaşık iki yıl önceki çıkışlarından beri ilk kaydı. Grubun "Square Two" da dahil önceki üç dijital şarkısı yayılarak Billboard Dünya Dijital Şarkı Satışı Listesinde yer aldı.
Yeni EP'nin çıkış şarkısı "Ddu-Du Ddu-Du", Yıldız yapımcısı Teddy Park'ın eseri bağımlılık yapıcı trap ezgileriyle bezeli bir hiphop şarkısı. Şarkının nakarat kısmı olan "Hit you with that ddu-du ddu-du" elle silah atıyormuş gibi yapılan koreografiyle birleşince bağımlılık yapıcı özelliğe sahip.
Yeni şarkı büyük online müzik marketlerinde saat akşam 6'da yayıldı.
Şarkı çıkış yapmadan önce basın konferansında "'Ddu-Du Ddu-Du' başlığı atış sesi ya da nefes alma sesi olabilir. Hatta bizim büyülü sesimiz gibi." açıklamasında bulundu üyelerden Jennie. Şarkının başlığı, yeni şarkının "Göğüs germek ve karşı koymak" temasıyla vücut buluyor.
"Eski şarkılarımızla birlikte, kadınsal tarafımızı göstermeye çalıştık. Bu kez ise, hip-hopun güçlü duyguları ve rap ile daha yoğun ve olgun olarak geri dönüş yaptık. Yeni şarkımızla en büyük amacımız BLACKPINK'ın çeşitli girişimlerde bulunduğunu göstermek." açıklaması geldi üye Jisoo'dan.
Jisoo'nun dediğine göre, çıkış şarkısının sahne performansı, sonlara doğru olan şarkının da gidişatıyla yoğun bir dans içerecek.
"Sahne performansı, şarkıya bambaşka bir büyü ekleyecek."
Ana şarkının dışında, albüm "Forever Young", "Really," ve "See U Later" isimli üç şarkı da barındırıyor. Hepsi Teddy tarafından yazıldı ve yine Teddy ve diğer sanatçılar tarafından bestelendi.
"'Forever Young' yaz sahillerini ve yol gezisini hatırlatan bir moonbahton dans şarkısı" dedi Tayvanlı üye Lisa.

4'lü grubun yeni şarkısı 1 senelik bir aradan sonra geldi. 1 senelik ara değişken K-pop dünyasında uzun bir süre.
"6-7 aylık bir duraklama bile bize çok gözükür. 1 yıllık ara... Biz, bu 4 şarkıdan ve onların detaylı düşünülmüş müziğinden daha çok şarkı üzerinde çalıştık." açıklaması geldi Jennie'den.
Kasıp kavuran iki yıllık başarıdan sonra, grup üyeleri kendilerine bu yükten arınarak rahatlamaları gerektiğini söylemiş. "İki yılın ardından, biz yeni bir zihniyetle döndük, yük gibi hissetmeye dikkat çekmeyeceğiz ve her geri dönüşümüzde de yeni bir girişimle geleceğiz." dedi Jisoo.
"Kişisel olarak, geçtiğimiz bir yıl boyunca, ben fiziksel yönetime odaklandım. Çünkü yeni şarkı, yoğun koreografisi ve performansıyla çok fazla vücut gücü istiyordu." dedi üye Rose.
"Şarkımızın Youtube'da 100 milyon tıklanma alması hala inanılmaz geliyor. Bu albüm için, 400 milyon görüntülenme almak gibi bir amacımız yok. İnsanlar şarkılarımızı dinlerse çok memnun olacağız sadece" diye ekledi Jennie.
Temmuz'da, kız grubu, Japonya'nın üç farklı şehrine arena turu düzenleyecek.
Grubun çıkışından beri ilk BLACKPINK konseri olacak. 6 gün sürecek olan tur 24 Temmuz'da Osaka-jo Hall'da başlayacak ve Fukuoka ve Chiba ile devam edecek.

Returning from a one-year hiatus following the release of its previous single, successful K-pop girl group BLACKPINK on Friday dropped its new EP, led by the track "Ddu-Du Ddu-Du," which comes with a choreography of finger guns to match that shooting sound.
The new EP, "Square Up," is the female quartet's first record since their debut around two years ago. Their three previous digital singles, including "Square Two," all went viral with three of the songs topping the Billboard chart of World Digital Song Sales.
"Ddu-Du Ddu-Du," the lead track of the new EP and a creation of YG's star producer Teddy Park, is highly addictive hip-hop number, laced with aggressive trap beats. The song's refrain, "Hit you with that ddu-du ddu-du," adds to the addictive quality, as does the choreography of hand guns that comes with the line.
The new record was released at major online music stores at 6 p.m.
"The title 'Ddu-Du Ddu-Du' could be the sound of shooting or the sound of breathing. It's also like our incantation," member Jennie said in a press conference before the record release. The title embodies the new record's vision of "squaring up and facing up."
"With our past songs, we tried to show our girlish side. This time, we came back with more maturity and intensity with powerful hip-hop feelings and rap. With the new release, our biggest goal is to show BLACKPINK making various attempts," member Jisoo said.
She said the stage performance of the lead track will come have an intense dance in the song's dance break close to the end.
"The stage performance is sure to add more charm to the song," Jisoo said.
Besides the main song, the record has three more tracks -- "Forever Young," "Really" and "See U Later" -- all written by Teddy and composed jointly by him and other artists.
"Forever Young" is a moombahton dance song reminiscent of a summer beach and a road trip, Thai member Lisa said.
Member Jisoo's favorite song is "See U Later," whose lyrics are about "saying bye to a bad guy," according to her. "With hilarious lyrics matched with fun melodies, I think the listeners will get addicted very easily."
The four-member group's new record came after a hiatus of one year following the last release, an unusually long pause for the fast-changing K-pop scene.
"Even a pause of six or seven months seemed so long to us. In the one-year hiatus, we worked on more songs than these four tracks to come up with music that is more polished and more detailed," Jennie said.
After the last two years of whirlwind success, the members said they are telling themselves to relieve the sense of burden that has come with their breakout success. "(After these two years) we have a new mindset that we will not pay attention to that (feeling of burden) and will make new attempts every time we come back," Jisoo said.
"Personally, I focused on physique management (during the year away) as the new song required a lot of body strength for its intense performance and choreography," member Rose said.
"It is still unbelievable that our songs have each set the record of 100 million (YouTube) views. For this album, we will not be so aspiring as to set a goal like 400 million views. We will be just very grateful if people listen to our songs," Jennie noted.
In July, the girl band is also set for an arena tour of three Japanese cities, the first BLACKPINK concert since the band's debut. The six-day tour will start off at the Osaka-jo Hall on July 24 and bring them to Fukuoka and Chiba.
