*1979. 12. 28: Kore Ulusal Polis Üniversite'sinin Kuruluşunun resmi duyurusu.

1980 ~ 1990

*1981. 10. 28: Kore Ulusal Polis Üniversitesi binası için temel atma töreni (Ekim 28 - Kore Ulusal Polis Üniversite'sinin Kuruluş Yıldönümü)
*1983. 01. 22: Bugünkü Yongin, Gyeonggi kampüsüne taşındı.
*1984. 01. 21: Ceza Soruşturması eğitim enstitüsü kuruldu.
*1984. 08. 03: Kampüs inşaatı tamamlandı.
*1985. 04. 09: İlk Mezuniyet Töreni
*1986. 10. 27: Anti-Komünizm eğitim enstitüsü kuruldu.
*1988. 10. 20: Asayiş işleri için araştırma enstitüsü kuruldu.

*1999. 05. 24: Ceza Soruşturma ve Ulusal Güvenlik Enstitüsü, Polis Soruşturma Güvenlik Eğitim Merkezi ve Kamu Güvenliği Araştırma Enstitüsüne entegre edildi.

*2005. 07. 05: Kamu Güvenliği Araştırma Entitüsü Polis Bilimleri Enstitüsü olarak genişletildi.
*2005. 10. 04: ABD Sam Houston State Üniversitesi ile akademik değişim anlaşması yapıldı.
*2006. 06. 20: Türk Polis Akademisi ile akademik değişim anlaşması yapıldı.
*2006. 09. 12: Hankuk Yabancı Araştırmaları Üniversitesi ile akademik değişim anlaşması yapıldı.
*2007. 03. 30: Polis Güvenlik Soruşturma ve Araştırma görevliler tarafından kaldırıldı, Polis Ajansına aktarıldı.
*2009. 03. 25: 25. Nitelikli Mezunlar Mezuniyeti
*2009. 09. 01: Araştırma Destek Merkezi düzenlendi.

22 Mart 2006 tarihinde 22. nitelikli mezunların mezuniyeti ile Kore Ulusal Polis Üniversitesi polis hizmetlerinde önemli rol oynayan toplam 2.525 mezun verdi. Üniversite, büyük ölçüde polis kuvvetlerinin modernizasyonu yoluyla daha iyi güvenlik hizmeti verenve en iyi demokratik hizmet odaklı polisler yetişmesinde katkıda bulunmuştur. Üniversitenin artan polis bilimleri ve pek çok akademik lansmanları ile ilgili insanların giderek artan ihtiyaçlarını karşılaması mümkün olacaktır.

*1984. 01. 21: Established Training Institute of Executive Officers for Criminal Investigation
*1984. 08. 03: Completion of campus construction
*1985. 04. 09: 1st Commencement Ceremony
*1986. 10. 27: Established Training Institute of Executive Officers for Anti-Communism
*1988. 10. 20: Established Research Institute of Public Security Affairs

*1992. 10. 17: Extended Training Institute of Executive Officers for Criminal Investigation to Training Institute of Police Criminal Investigation

*1998. 11. 23: Concludes a pact for forging closer ties with the Chinese People's Public Security University
*1999. 05. 24: Integrates Police Investigation Security Training Center and Public Security Research Institute (Security Police Executives Institute) into Criminal Investigation and National Security Institute

2000 ~

*2005. 07. 05: The Public Security Research Institute expanded and reorganized into the 'Police Science Institute' (Integrated with the Public Security Research Institute)
*2005. 10. 04: Concludes the agreement of academic exchanges with the U.S. Sam Houston State University
*2006. 06. 20: Concludes the agreement of academic exchanges with the Turkish Police Academy.

*With the graduation of the 22nd qualified alumni on Mar. 22, 2006, the Korea National Police University has since produced a total of 2,525 graduates who play pivotal roles for police services. The University has greatly contributed to providing better security services by way of the modernization of police forces, and establishing the best image as the democratic and service-oriented police. The University devotes itself to cultivating police elites, who will be able to satisfy the growing needs from the people wishing for the innovative police and increasing academic interest for the police science with the launch of many police-related academic departments in the general universities nationwide.
