Geçtigimiz yilin sonunda Baengnyeong Adasi'nin kuzeybatisinda, Güney Kore'ye yerlesmis olan ilk sig su foku canli türü bulunur. Ulusal Su Ürünleri Arastirma ve Gelistirme Enstitüsü, yüksek ihtimalle sig su foklarinin kisi geçirmek için geldiklerini söyledi.


One of two harbor seals found near the northwestern island of Baengnyeong at the end of last year, the first time the species has been spotted in South Korea. The National Fisheries Research and Development Institute said chances are high the seals came to spend the winter.

Seoul National Science Museum / The Eclipse

Kore'de dün, kismi bir günes tutulmasi görülmüstür. Baskent Seoul'de tutulma saat 16:41'de baslayip 56 dakika sürmüstür. Çocuklar bu günes tutulmasini, Seoul'ün merkezi, Jongno'daki Seoul Ulusal Bilim Müzesi'nde günes gözlükleriyle izlemislerdir. Böyle bir günes tutulmasinin 21 Mayis 2012'de tekrar gerçeklesecegi tahmin edilmektedir.

The partial solar eclipse, top, is observed yesterday in Korea. The eclipse lasted 56 minutes beginning at 4:41 p.m. in Seoul. Children, bottom, watched the partial eclipse through sunglasses at the Seoul National Science Museum in Jongno, central Seoul. The next such eclipse is expected on May 21, 2012.
