Taecyeon da kaza ile ilgili yayılan yalan haber ve dedikodular hakkında konuştu. O basitçe :" Bu yalanları ve dedikoduları yayanlar artık insan bile değiller."dedi.

2PM's Chansung and Taecyeon spoke up about the Sewol ferry incident.

Unlike many other idols who spoke up in compassion, Chansung had something to say about the rescue process. Yesterday, he tweeted, "Accidents can happen. But how we manage the accidents show how we are as a society. You can see what kind of environment we are in through one situation. Also, this isn't just someone else's problem - it could hap[en to us. I think our society is ill."

He added, "It's very saddening and disappointing.. I don't feel so good after the accident. It would be like that after just the accident, but my heart hurt more because of the evil occurrences after the accident as well as the stabbing of the hearts of people who are already suffering through the spreading of unconfirmed information. These people... I hope they suffer as much as they caused..".

Today, Taecyeon also had something to say to those who were spreading rumors and lies about the situation. He wrote simply, "People who are spreading lies and rumors right now are not even people."

Girls' Generation's Seohyun and 2AM's Jo Kwon's tweets from April 20 have came to light. Both idols are made headlines for their thoughtful words as they expressed their condolences regarding the tragic ferry accident.

Seohyun wrote, "The tears that have fallen until they've dried.. the suffering that an already torn up heart could not even have imagined.. I hope there will be no more events to cause pain.. I hope for a miracle.. I truly pray with earnest.. To all the sacrificed lives from this incident.. I hope you have gone to a better place.. I send my condolences."

Jokwon wrote on the same day, "Only grief and resentment are growing right now. The captain, who shirked his responsibilities. The government that should stand up for the families. The press that should be fair. The portion of thoughtless netizens. People come first. It's simple, but must be really hard for them."

Then in a follow up tweet he posted, "Even me, whose job requires the constant balancing of feelings. Endlessly, I settle my feelings." The 2AM member also shared the photo below with the tags, "#prayforsouthkorea#yellowribbon." The message states, "One small movement [can cause] a miracle."

It's been belatedly revealed that Park Shin Hye donated 50 million won (~$48,100 USD) to relief for the Sewol ferry tragedy.

A rep from Hope Bridge Nationwide Disaster Relief Association, an NGO acknowledged by the South Korean government for disaster relief, told Newsen about the generous donation on April 23, "Park Shin Hye sent the money to Hope Bridge Nationwide Disaster Relief Association's collection account in her name, but we didn't know it was the celebrity Park Shin Hye at first. We later found out. A manager from her agency did not let us know she donated. I think they didn't want it to be known."

S.A.LT Entertainment also stated that like the rest of the nation, Park Shin Hye was very saddened by the tragedy and decided to donate on her own.
