Sili’deki Kore Dilinde Pagoda:

27 Mayis SANTIAGO, Sili - Sili Disisleri Bakani Alfredo Moreno (Ortada) ve 25 Mayis tarihinde Sili’nin baskenti Ribera Sur Park'ta Korece yazili bir pagodaya adanmislik törenine Güney Kore Büyükelçisi Santiago Hwang Eui-seung (Sag) ile katildi. Güney Kore hükümeti, Güney Amerika ülkesinin bagimsizliginin 200. yildönümünü kutlamak için, 1.200 yil önce yapilmis olan ve Kore’de ulusal hazine olarak nitelendirilen "Dabotap" adindaki Pagoda’nin, taklitini insa ederek hediye etmisti.

Eski Kore kitaplarinin Japonya'dan geri getirilmesi için iki ülke arasinda yaklasik yedi ay önce imzalanan iki tarafli anlasma cuma günü yürürlüge girdi.

Hükümete göre, Japonya Kore'ye, anlasmanin onaylanmasi için gerekli yerel sürecin tamamlandigi, kisa süre sonra gönderim isleminin baslayacagini bildirdi.

A bilateral agreement for the return of ancient Korean books from Japan came into force on Friday, about seven months after it was signed between the two countries.

The move came shortly after Japan notified Seoul that it had completed a domestic process to approve the agreement, according to the Seoul government.

PARIS, 11 Haziran (Yonhap) - Bes Güney Koreli pop grubu, 7.000'den fazla istekli hayranin önünde Avrupa sahnesinde basarili bir baslangiç yaparak, cuma günü Paris'te ilk konserlerini verdi.



Popüler TVXQ, Girls 'Generation, Super Junior, SHINee ve f(x) grubu, Fransa, Ispanya, Italya ve Polonya da dahil Avrupa'nin her yerinden gelmis hayranlari için toplam 44 sarkidan olusan repertuarlarini Paris Le Zenith konser salonunda üç saatlik bir performans ile ortaya koydu.

1.000'den fazla kisi bes saat önceden gösteriyi izlemek için salonun disinda bir kalabalik olustururken yaklasik 100 kadar genç hayran da persembe günü konser salonunun disinda geceyi geçirdi. Hatta yagan yagmur bile Koreli pop sanatçilarinin sarkilarini söylemeleri için bekleyen kalabaligi dagitmaya yetmedi.



Pop gruplari sarkilarini danslar esliginde seslendirirken hayranlarin tezahürat ve çigliklari salonda firtinalar kopardi. Gösterinin organizatörleri seyircilerin sadece yaklasik yüzde 2’sinin Koreli oldugunu tahmin ettiklerini söylediler.

Seoul merkezli pop gruplarinin ajansi SM Entertainment, baslangiçta, cuma için tek gösteri planladiklarini ancak daha sonra ilk konser için biletlerin 15 dakika içinde tükendigini bundan dolayi cumartesi için de bir gösteri daha ekledigini belirtti. Fransiz hayranlar, yüzlerce ekstra göstermek talebi için Louvre Müzesi önünde yürüdü.

S. Korean pop groups hold first concert in Paris:

PARIS, June 11 (Yonhap) -- Five South Korean pop bands held their first concert in Paris on Friday, making a successful debut on the European stage in front of more than 7,000 eager fans.

Popular acts TVXQ, Girls' Generation, Super Junior, SHINee and f(x) put on a three-hour performance at Le Zenith de Paris concert hall, singing a total of 44 songs for the fans, who had come from all parts of Europe, including France, Spain, Italy and Poland.

About 100 teenage fans spent the night outside the concert hall on Thursday, while more than 1,000 people crowded outside the hall five hours prior to the start of the show. Even rain was not enough to drive away fans who stood waiting for the concert to start as they sang Korean pop songs and danced to their music.

The pop groups took the hall by storm as they sang and danced for the cheering and screaming of fans. The show's organizers estimated that only about 2 percent of the audience were Koreans.

The pop bands' Seoul-based agency, S.M. Entertainment, initially scheduled only one show for Friday, but later added another show for Saturday after tickets for the first concert sold out in 15 minutes. Hundreds of French fans rallied in front of the Louvre Museum to demand an extra show.

Welcoming Ceremonies for Ancient Books on Sat

Eski Kitaplar Için Cumartesi Günü Yapilan Kutlamalar

Hükümet, 1866 yilinda Fransiz bir grup tarafindan Ganghwa Adasi'nda yagmalanan Kore kraliyet kitaplarinin geri dönüsü için kutlamalar düzenledi.

Etkinlikler cumartesi günü Ganghwa Adasi ve Gyeongbok Sarayi'nda yapildi.

Cumartesi günü saat 10:00'da kitaplarin dönüsüne itafen Ganghwa Adasi'daki Oegyujaggak bölgesinde bir ayin düzenlendi. Ögleden sonra Gyeongbok Sarayi'nda eki kraliyet kitaplari için ulusal bir karsilama etkinligi yapildi.

Cumartesi günü ayrica törensel ayinlere ve genis çapli canli tören etkinliklerine ek olarak Gyeongbok Sarayi'nin karsisindaki Gwanghwa Kapisi'nda "Ibong March" gibi çesitli gösteriler de yapildi.

297 ciltlik Oegyujanggak kitaplari 14 Nisan ve 27 Mayis tarihleri arasinda dört parça halinde Güney Kore'ye getirildi.

Bunlarin 70 cildi 19 Temmuz - 18 Eylül tarihleri arasinda Kore Ulusal Müzesi'nde özel bir sergiyle halka açilacak. Kitaplar ayrica tüm ülkede sergilemesi bekleniyor.

The government has held ceremonies welcoming the return of royal Korean books that French troops looted from Ganghwa Island in 1866.

The events were held on Saturday on Ganghwa Island and Gyeongbok Palace.

At 10 a.m. on Saturday, ceremonial rites were held at the site of the Oegyujanggak on Ganghwa Island to mark the return of the books. In the afternoon, a national welcoming event was held for the ancient royal texts at Gyeongbok Palace.

There were also a wide variety of celebrations on Saturday, including the "Ibong March" across Gwanghwamun to Gyeongbok Palace, in addition to ceremonial rites and a wide variety of celebratory performances.

The 297 volumes of the Oegyujanggak books have been returned to South Korea in four batches from April 14 to May 27.

Of them, 70 volumes will be revealed to the public during a special exhibition at the National Museum of Korea from July 19 to September 18. The books are also expected to be displayed across the nation in traveling exhibits.

Nodeul Island Music Festival Scheduled for Weekend

Nodeul Adasi Müzik Festivali Haftasonu Yapilacak

Seoul Büyüksehir Belediyesi Hangang Büyük Köprüsü'nün yanindaki Han Nehri'ndeki bir adada cumartesi ve pazar günü bir müzik festivali düzenleyecek.

Festival cumartesi günü saat 19:30'da ana etkinlik olarak Seoul Filharmonik Orkestrasi'nin konseriyle basladi.

Ek olarak müzikal oyunculari Yongsan ve Dongjak yörelerinin sarkilarini söyleyecekler. Havai fisek gösterisi de planlandi.

Ikinci gün, genis çapli bir konser verilecek. Geleneksel Vurmali Çalgilar Müzik Enstitüsü ve Goyang Güzel Sanatlar Lisesi'nde genis bir vurmali çalgilar performansi sahnelenecek. Popüler Koreli sarkicilar Kim Bum Soo ve Insooni de sahne alacak.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government will hold a music festival on a Han River island near the Hangang Grand Bridge from Saturday to Sunday.

The festival will begin with the main event, a concert with commentary by the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, from 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.

The orchestra will play classics, original soundtracks, and 20th century Korean music with commentary. It will also play a selection of pieces with the theme of rivers and water, since the concert is being held to celebrate an island.

Additionally, musical actors will sing, as will the choruses of Yongsan and Dongjak districts and the general public. Splashy fireworks are also planned.

On the second day, a concert featuring a wide variety of genres will be held. A large-scale percussion instrumental performance will be put on by the Institute of Traditional Percussion Music and the Goyang High School of Arts. The popular Korean singers Kim Bum Soo and Insooni will also perform.
