Cheongsong İlçesi Güney Kore'nin Kuzey Gyeongsang Eyaleti'nde yer alan bir ilçedir.

Cheongsong Koreliler arasında elmaları ve ilçe etrafında yer alan ünlü cezaevleriyle bilinir. Cheongsong elmaları Kore ve Seoul'de büyük tüketim yüzdesine sahiptir. Aslında Cheongsong birçok çeşit elma üretiyordu ama şu anda ağırlıklı olarak Kore "Gün batımı" elması üretiyor. Cheongsong'un diğer ünlü ürünü ise Cheongyang biberi, Kore acı biberidir.

Gezilecek Yerler

Daejeon Tapınağı Cheongsong-gun'un en büyüğüdür. Bogwangjeon yapısı Kore'nin 1570 numaralı hazinesidir ve içinde Ming Hanedanlığı generali Lee Yeo-song'dan Samyeong Daisa'ya gönderilen bir el yazısı mektup vardır.

İlçede bulunan Jusan Gölü, Kim Ki-duk'un 2003 yapımı Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter... and Spring filminin çekim alanı olmuştur. Yüzen manastır film için yapılmıştır ve Kim, bir yıl boyunca orada kalmak için yetkililerden izin aldı. Gölet milli parkın bir parçasıdır ve bu yüzden bina yapımına izin verilmez.

İlçe Bayrağı

Yeşil üst kısmı Cheongsong-gun yeşil dağlarını sembolize eder. Mavi sol alt kısmı temiz nehirleri ve sarı sağ alt kısmı da verimli tarlalarını sembolize eder. Sembol bir bütün olarak gelecek odaklı ilerlemeyi sürdüren enerjik bir kırsal alan görüntüsünü temsil eder.

İlçe Ağaç: Çam

"Yeşil 5 rengin en iyisi ve çam tüm ağaçların en iyisidir." derler. İlçe dökmeyen çam ağaçları ile doludur. Çam ağacı "disiplin" ve "cesaret" temsil eder.

İlçe'nin çiçeği: Elma Çiçeği

Elma çiçekleri Mayıs ayında açarak ilçeyi beyaza bürür. Bu basit çiçek ilçe sakinlerinin basit ve saf kalbini temsil eder. Eskiden beri Cheongsong'da yabani elma ağaçları vardır.

Sülünler güzel endama sahiptir. Onlar bolca ürediği için ilçede her yerde bulunur. İlçe halkına tanıdıklardır.

Cheongsong County (or Cheongsong-gun) is a county in North Gyeongsang Province, South Korea.

Cheongsong is known among Koreans for its apples and for a famous prison situated around Cheongsong. Cheongsong apples took up a large percentage of consumed apples in Korea as well as Seoul. Originally, Cheongsong produced a large variety of apples but now produces mainly Korean 'Sundown' apples. Another famous product of Cheongsong is the Cheongyang Pepper, a Korean hot chili pepper.

Attractions

Daejeon Temple is the largest in Cheongsong-gun. The Bogwangjeon building, is Korea's treasure no. 1570, and in its procession is the woodblock of a handwritten letter from Lee Yeo-song, a general of the Ming Dynasty, to Samyeong Daisa.

Jusan Pond, located in the county, was the site of filming for Kim Ki-duk's 2003 film Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter... and Spring. The floating monastery was built for the purpose of the film, and Kim obtained permission from the authorities to keep it there for a year. The pond is part of a national park, so no buildings are permitted.

The top part in green symbolizes "green mountains" in Cheongsong-gun. The lower left part in blue symbolizes "clean rivers" and the lower right part in yellow symbolizes "rich fields." The entire symbol represents the image of an energetic rural area that pursues future-oriented progress.

There is a saying, "Green is the best of 5 colors and the pine is the best of all trees." The county is thick with evergreen pine trees. The pine tree symbolizes "discipline" and "grit."

County Flower : Apple Flower

Apple flowers in full bloom in May cover the county white. The simple flower represents county people's simple and pure heart. From the old days, Cheongsong has had many wild apple trees.



County Bird : Pheasant

Pheasants have beautiful figures. They are found everywhere in the county because they breed profusely. They are familiar to county people.

County Animal: Otter

Otters live in very clean areas. The otter, designated as Natural Monument, was selected as the county animal to emphasize the clean image of Cheongsong and to protect them from extinction.

County Mascot : Pet name: Mijeong

It is a personification of Mt. Juwangsan with green trees and clean streams.
