KBS deems Block B’s new songs unfit for broadcast

KBS, Block B'nin yeni şarkılarının yayın için uygun olmadığını gördü

Yeni albümlerinin yayınlanması ile hemen köşeyi dönen idol hip hop grubu Block B, geri dönüşleri için şimdiden birçok sorunla karşı karşıya.

KBS, "kaba ifadeler" gerekçesiyle “Did You or Did You Not” ve “LOL” parçalarının yayına uygun olmadığını gördü.

Yayın istasyonu, “Did You or Did You Not” parçasının insanlara soru sorarak sekse atıfta bulunmayı akıllara getirdiğini belirtti: “Did you do it, or not?” Korece başlığında “haet suh ahn haet suh”, ”haet suh” kendi üzerinde, "yapmak" fiilinden türetilmiştir.

Aynı zamanda, “LOL” şarkı sözlerinde “ggondae” kelimesini içeriyor. (genellikle, olumsuz bir çağrışım ile yaşlılara atıfta bulunmak için kullanılan argo bir kelimedir.)

Hayranlar, “‘ggondae’ KBS'in dizisi ‘God of Study’de duyulan bir kelime, ayrıca SBS'nin ‘Protect the Boss’ dizisinde de kullanıldı,” diyerek duydukları öfkeyi dile getirdi ve reddetti.

With the release of their new album just around the corner, hip hop idol group Block B is already facing numerous obstacles for their comeback.

KBS has deemed the tracks “Did You or Did You Not” and “LOL” as unfit for broadcast, stating “vulgar expressions” as the reason.

The broadcast station stated that “Did You or Did You Not” brings to mind the question people ask when referring to sex: “Did you do it, or not?” In their Korean title, “haet suh ahn haet suh”, ”haet suh” is derived from the Korean verb “to do”, on it’s own.

Meanwhile, “LOL” contains the word “ggondae” in the lyrics (which is usually used as a slang referring to elders with a negative connotation).

Fans have expressed their outrage and refuted, “‘ggondae’ is a word that was definitely heard on KBS’ drama ‘God of Study’, and also used in SBS’s ‘Protect the Boss’.”

The boys of Block B are gearing up for their comeback with their new song, “Nanrina“!

They released a teaser just days ago, bringing a brand new image and sound for their second mini-album, scheduled for release on Thursday, February 2nd (KST)! Additionally, all of the tracks were produced by none other than Block B’s leader, Zico.

Block B at the center of another controversy, due to their fans

Block B, Hayranlarından Dolayı Başka Bir Tartışmanın Merkezinde

Bu yılın başlarında Tayland'da yaptıkları röportajda tartışmalara neden olan Block B, bu kez de hayranlarından dolayı kendilerini başka bir tartışmanın merkezinde buldular.

Problem, Block B'nin 17 Mart'ta Suwon'daki büyük bir kitabevinde düzenlediği imza gününde başladı. Etkinlik esnasında bazı hayranlar, idollerini görebilmek için sert yöntemlere başvurdular. Bu birkaç hayran, kitaplık ve masaların üzerlerine çıkarak, raflardaki çok sayıda kitabın ve masaların devrilmesine neden oldular.

Üstelik, kitapların çoğunun üzerine basılmaktan hasar gördüğü ve hatta bir masanın hayranların ağırlığından dolayı kırılmış olduğu bildirildi. Block B, who earlier this year caused a firestorm of controversies due to their interview in Thailand, has once again found themselves at the center of yet another controversy, this time due to their fans.

The problem began on March 17th, when Block B held a fan signing event in a large bookstore in Suwon. As the fan signing event was underway, some fans took drastic measures in order to get a glimpse of their idols. A few fans climbed on top of bookshelves and tables, causing numerous books to fall off of these shelves and tables.

Furthermore, many of these books were damaged from being stepped on and a table was even reported to have been broken from the weight of the fans. These occurrences were uploaded live through various social networking sites. thus pictures were transmitted in real time to numerous online community boards.

Those who were present in the bookstore uploaded comments such as, “Even the security equipment is being broken by the fans“, “I think there are more than a hundred books that were damaged” , and “This is so rude to the normal customers who are there to buy books“.

As the controversy began to accelerate, some Block B fans took damage control into their own hands. Many of them criticized the destructive fans by saying, “Currently Block B’s company is losing trainees and Block B are busy with schedules, and your actions are making it more difficult for them.” Furthermore, some of the fans cleaned up the mess after the signing event and uploaded pictures of their cleaning online.

Some attributed the problem to the organizational failure of the event. The event was only supposed to host pre-selected fans, but the event drew fans from all over, causing there to be a lack of organization and management.

Block B Bir Kez Daha 'MATCH UP: Block B Returns' Programına Katılacak

Geçen yıl, yeni grup Block B SBS MTV kanalında 'MATCH UP: Block B' adıyla kendi programını yapmıştı. Program sona erdiğinde, hayranları gerçekten hayal kırıklığına uğramıştı ve programın bir gün yeniden geri dönmesini umut etmişlerdi. BBCler sevinebilir, çünkü program geri dönüyor!

SBS MTV web sitesi aracılığıyla, Block B'nin 'MATCH UP: Block B Returns' isimli ikinci sezon programıyla geri döneceğini duyurdu. Program Block B'nin, hayranlarının duygularına hitap ederek, onlara nasıl karşılık vereceği üzerinde duracak. Üyeler samimi yönlerini göstererek hayranlarının sevgisine cevap vermeye çalışmayı planlıyor.

Block B to star once again in reality show ‘MATCH UP: Block B Returns’

Last year, rookie group Block B had their own reality show on SBS MTV titled ‘MATCH UP: Block B‘. When the reality show ended, fans were highly disappointed and hoped that the show would one day return, BBC’s can rejoice as the show is coming back!

SBS MTV has announced through their website that Block B will be coming back for a second season, titled ‘MATCH UP: Block B Returns‘. The show will focus on how Block B can give back to their fans by appealing to their feelings. They are planning to show their sincere sides and work to return the love of their fans.

The first episode of ‘MATCH UP: Block B Returns’ is set to broadcast on October 18th, 2012.

Bugünün erken saatlerinde, Block B'nin lideri Zico ikinci resmi mixtape'i ‘Zico on the Block 1.5‘i yayınlayacağını duyurdu ve 'Battle Royal' isimli özel parçayı BBCler için Chuseok hediyesi olarak önceden yayınladı.

Earlier today, Block B‘s leader Zico announced that he would be releasing his second official mixtape, ‘Zico on the Block 1.5‘, and pre-released a special track off of the tape titled “Battle Royal” as a Chuseok present for BBCs!

Fans are already familiar with his 2010 pre-debut mixtape, ‘Zico on the Block‘, as well as hundreds of other songs that he’s worked on prior to the group’s debut, so anticipation for his new release is soaring high!

The deep song dives into his thoughts on the gruesome details behind what it’s actually like under the glitz and glam of celebrity spotlights. He touches on a variety of issues that stars are constantly battling, like warped body images, fierce competition, and the desperate mindset it takes to survive and continue on.

Meanwhile, Block B’s official comeback next month!
