BM Nükleer Test Gözlemcisi K. Kore’yi İzliyor
Özgür Asya Radyosu, BM altındaki Kapsamlı Nükleer-Test Yasaklama Anlaşması Örgütü’nün (KNTYA) Kuzey Kore’nin olası bir nükleer testine karşı bir yerde güçlü bir izleme sistemi olduğunu açıkladı.
ABD yayıncısı, KNTYA Sözcüsü Annika Thunborg’un toplamda 290 tesisin dünya çapında nükleer testin olabileceği yerleri izlediğini ve Kuzey Kore için gözetimin güçlendirildiği ile ilgili sözlerini aktardı.
Örgüt, nükleer test ile ilgili herhangi bir işaret algıladığı bir saat içinde BM’ye ve KNTYA’ya üye ülkelere test konumu ve zamanı ile ilgili bilgileri iletebilen bir sisteme sahip.
Kuzey Kore 2006 ve 2009 yıllarında nükleer testler yaptığında bu haber ağı etkinleştirilmişti.

Radio Free Asia says the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization under the UN has a powerful monitoring system in place against a potential North Korean nuclear test.
The U.S. broadcaster quoted CTBTO Spokesperson Annika Thunborg as saying that a total of 290 facilities operating worldwide are monitoring all possible areas where a nuclear test could take place and surveillance is being strengthened for North Korea.
The organization has a system which can convey information on the test’s location and time to the UN and CTBTO member nations within an hour after detecting any sign of a nuke test.
This report network was activated when North Korea conducted nuke tests in 2006 and 2009.
