Önümüzdeki ay Afganistan’a gönderilecek Güney Kore Birliği’nin “Ashena” takımı, Incheon’daki uğurlama töreninde poz verdiler. Yaklaşık 220 asker Afganistan’ın kuzey bölgesi Parwan ilinin yeniden yapılanmasında Güney Kore’nin güvenliğini sağlayacak. Ashena, Parwan’ın yerel dilinde arkadaş anlamına gelmektedir.

Troops of South Korea’s “Ashena” unit, which will be sent to Afghanistan later this month, pose at a send-off ceremony in Incheon on Dec. 21. About 220 troops will provide security for South Korea’s provincial reconstruction team in the northern Afghan province of Parwan. Ashena means friend or colleague in Parwan’s local language.
