Güney Kore, Dokdo Mülkiyetini Tanıtan Yeni Bir Video Yayımlayacak
Güney Kore, bir Japon hükümet görevlisinin yalan söyleyerek ülkenin doğusundaki Dokdo adalarının üzerinde egemenlik ilan ettiğini içeren başka bir videoyu bu hafta halka sundu.
Video, Kore mülkiyeti olan ve tarihsel kanıtları gösteren Doğu Denizi adacıklarını içermektedir. Video, Dokdo’daki Dışişleri Bakanlığı sitesinde ve ayrıca Youtube’da yayımlanacak.
Bakanlık, birçok video arasından bir tanesini seçmek için son bir kez inceleme yapıyor.
“Biz son sahnede çalışıyoruz, yıl bitmeden yüklemeyi hedefliyoruz; fakat zamanlama biraz değişebilir.” şeklinde bir açıklama yapıldı.
Video, Ekim ayından sonra bakanlığın yayınlayacağı ikinci Dokdo videosu olacak. Klip bir Japon televizyon programından kullanılmış ve hurdaya dönmüş bir biçimde bulundu.
Bakanlık, yeni bir video yapması için farklı bir yapımcı görevlendirdi.
Ayrıca Ekim ayında Dokdo hakkında Japonya’da benzer bir iddiada bulunan videoyu Japon dilinde yayınladı. Ülke Korece, İngilizce, Japonca ve farklı dillerde videonun sürümlerini üretti.
Dokdo, iki ülke ilişkilerinde hep bir diken olmuştur. Güney Kore adacıklar üzerinde kontrol amaçlı polis bulundurur.
Güney Kore, Dokdo ve etrafındaki birçok ada dahil olmak üzere sömürgelikten çıkarak bağımsızlığını ilan ettiği için diğer adalarda dahil olmak üzere Japonya’nın Dokdo talebini reddetmektedir.

South Korea plans to release another video this week to publicize its sovereignty over the country’s easternmost islets of Dokdo, to which Japan has laid claim, a government official said Sunday.
The video, which includes historical evidence showing that the East Sea islets are Korean territory, will be posted on the foreign ministry’s website on Dokdo and will also be uploaded on YouTube, the official said.
The ministry is conducting a final review of multiple clips to choose one.
“We are working in the final stage, with the aim of uploading it before year’s end, though the timing can slightly vary,” the official said.
It will be South Korea’s second Dokdo-promotion video after the first one released by the ministry in October. The clip had to be scrapped as it was found to have used a footage from a Japanese TV program without due consent.
The ministry then commissioned a different producer to make a new video.
Also in October, Japan released a similar Japanese-language video promoting its claims to Dokdo. The country has since produced foreign-language versions of the video in English, Korean and other languages.
Dokdo, which lies closer to South Korea than Japan in waters between the two countries, has long been a thorn in their relations. South Korea keeps a small police detachment on the islets, effectively asserting control over them.
South Korea rejects Japan’s claim to Dokdo as nonsense because the country regained its independence from Japanese colonial rule and reclaimed sovereignty over its territories, including Dokdo and many other islands around the Korean Peninsula.
