Güney Kore, penaltılarla Kolombiya’yı yenerek FIFA U-20 Dünya Kupası’nın çeyrek finallerine ulaşmayı başardı.
Güney Kore, çarşamba günü Türkiye, Trabzon’da yapılan maçın ilk yarısının 16. dakikasında bir gol kaydetti. Uzatmalarda penaltılarla 8-7 mağlup olmadan önce Kolombiya ikinci yarıda 1-1 beraberlik getirmişti.
Güney Kore, 2009 yılından bu yana ilk kez U-20 Dünya Kupası’nın çeyrek finallerine yükseldi.
Güney Kore, bir sonraki tura yükselmek için Paraguay’ı 1-0 mağlup eden Irak ile mücadele edecek.

South Korea has advanced into the quarterfinals of the FIFA U-20 World Cup after beating Colombia on penalties.
South Korea stuck first with a goal in the 16th minute of the first half at the match in Trabzon, Turkey on Wednesday. Colombia brought the game to a draw at 1-1 in the second before falling 8-7 in a penalty shootout after extra time.
This is South Korea’s first time to advance to the quarterfinals of the U-20 World Cup since 2009.
South Korea will compete against Iraq, which beat Paraguay 1-0, to reach the next round.
