Polis, ekimdeki DDoS Saldırısı’nın Araştırmasını Genişletiyor
İktidardaki Büyük Ulusal Parti’nin meclis üyesi Choi Ku-sik’in yardımcısı 26 ekim ara seçimlerinde Ulusal Seçim Komisyonu’nun websitesini kapatmak amacıyla yapılan kitlesel bir siber saldırı olan DDoS saldırısını yönetme suçuyla tutuklandı.
Ulusal Polis Teşkilatındaki Siber Terörle Mücadele Merkezi, Gong soyadıyla kimliğinin saptandığı yardımcıyı ve diğer 3 kişiyi tutukladıktan sonra saldırının arkasındaki sebebi öğrenmek için soruşturmanın kapsamını genişletti.
Yüksek mercilerden emir alıp almadığını öğrenmek için, polis, Gong’un telefon kayıtlarını izliyor.
Polis, şüphelilerin o zamanki belediye başkan adayı Park Won-soon’un websitesi, wonsoon.com’a yapılan saldırıların sorumluları olup olmadığını da araştırıyor.

The ruling Grand National Party lawmaker Choi Ku-sik’s aide has been arrested on charges of conducting a DDoS attack, a massive cyber attack, to shut down the National Election Commission’s Website on the day of October 26th by-elections.
The Cyber Terror Response Center at the National Police Agency is expanding the scope of the investigation to find out the motives behind the attack after arresting the aide identified by the surname Gong and three other individuals.
Police are tracking Gong’s telephone records to find out whether he received order from the higher-ups.
Police are also investigating whether the suspects were also responsible for attacking then-Seoul mayoral candidate Park Won-soon’s Web site, wonsoon.com.
