Serbest Meslek Sahibi Kişi Yüzdesi En düşük Seviyesinde
Ekonomik durgunluk nedeniyle artan sayıda işletmenin giderek kapanmasının ardından serbest meslek yüzdesi en düşük seviyeye geldi.
İstatistik Kore, serbest meslek sayısının bir yıl önceye göre 90 bin düştüğünü ve geçen ay 5.7 milyon olduğunu açıkladı. Bu sayı, ilgili istatistiklerin Nisan 1983 yılında ilk kez toplanmaya başlamasından beri kaydedilen en düşük rakam oldu.
Serbest meslek sahipleri, işi olan kişilerin toplam sayısının yaklaşık %23 ‘ünü oluşturuyor.
Bir Maliye Bakanlığı yetkilisi, perakendeciler veya restoran işletmelerinin pazar doygunluğundan kaynaklanan artan rekabet nedeniyle kapanma riskinin yüksek olduğunu açıkladı. Yetkili, serbest meslek sahiplerinin ekonomik yavaş ekonomik iyileşme ile marjinal olma olasılığına karşı sosyal güvenlik ağı sağlamanın bir ihtiyaç olduğunu belirtti.

Out of the total number of people with jobs, the percentage of self-employed posted the lowest figure ever as a growing number of businesses are closing down due to the prolonged economic recession.
Statistics Korea announced on Monday that the number of self-employed stood at five-point-seven million last month, down 90-thousand from a year ago. That’s the lowest figure to be posted since related statistics first began to be gathered in April 1983.
Self-employed people accounted for about 23 percent of the total number of people with jobs.
A Finance Ministry official said that retailers or restaurant businesses have a high risk of closing down due to rising competition resulting from market saturation. The official said there is a need to secure a social safety net as self-employed people are likely to become economically marginalized with sluggish economic recovery.
