Çalışma Grupları, Yasadışı Faaliyetlerden Dolayı Hükümeti Suçluyor
Ülkenin iki çalışma grubu, Güney Kore hükümetinin iş ve yönetim danışmanlık grupları olmaksızın askeri ücretli konsey üyelerini yasadışı olarak görevlendirdiğini iddia ederek, Uluslararası Çalışma Örgütü’ne (ILO) şikayatte bulundu.
Kore Sendikalar Konfederasyonu (KCTU) ve Kore İşçi Sendikaları Konfederasyonu (KCTU), pazartesi günü İsviçre, Cenevre’deki ILO genel kurulunda şikayeti iletti.
Çalışma grupları, hükümetin iş ve yönetim danışmanlık grupları olmaksızın 27 üyeli ücretli konseyin sekiz üyesini tek taraflı olarak görevlendirdiğini ve böylece doğrudan ILO anlaşmalarını ihlal ettiğini iddia etti.
Ayrıca gruplar, sosyal diyalog mekanizmalarını bozan hükümet kararının 24 milyon düşük ücretli bazı işçilerin geçimini sağlaması için doğrudan bir tehdit oluşturduğunu söyledi. Çalışma grupları, ücretli konseyin kurulması ve demokratik olarak işletilmesini sağlamak için ILO’dan gerekli önlemleri alınmasını istedi.

The nation’s two labor groups have filed a complaint with the International Labor Organization (ILO), claiming the South Korean government illicitly appointed members of the minimum wage council without consulting labor and management groups.
The Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) and the Federation of Korean Trade Unions (FKTU) submitted the complaint on Monday during a general assembly of ILO in Geneva, Switzerland.
The labor groups claimed that the government unilaterally appointed the nine neutral members of the 27-member wage council without consulting labor and management groups, thus directly violating the ILO treaty.
The groups also said the government’s decision that distorted the social dialogue mechanism has posed a direct threat to the livelihoods of some 24 million low-wage workers. The labor groups then asked ILO to take appropriate measures to ensure the wage council is formed and operated democratically.
