Cold Spell Expected On Sunday

Pazar Günü Soğuk Dalgası Bekleniyor

Son zamanlarda ülkeyi vuran soğuk dalgaları ve yoğun kar yağışı ile birlikte, pazar günü sıcaklığın eksi 13 dereceye düşerek bu sezonun en soğuk günü olması bekleniyor.

Kore Meteoroloji İdaresi'nin yaptığı açıklamaya göre, cumartesi gününün erken saatlerinde sıcaklık, yıllık ortalama sıcaklığın 7,4 derece daha altına düşerek eksi 9,1 derece oldu.

Ülkenin merkez bölgeleri, Cheolwon'da sıcaklık eksi 17 ve Chuncheon'da eksi 11,7 dereceye kadar inerek şimdiye kadarki en şiddetli soğuk dalgasını yaşadı.

Pazar günü sabahı, sıcaklıklar Seoul ve Suwon'da eksi 13, Cheolwon'da eksi 19, Chuncheon'da eksi 17 ve Cheongju'da eksi 12 dereceye kadar düşecek.

With cold spells and heavy snowfall hitting the country recently, Sunday is expected to be the coldest day so far this season, with temperatures dropping to minus 13 degrees Celsius.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, temperatures fell to minus nine-point-1 degrees early on Saturday, seven-point-4 degrees lower than the annual average temperature.

Central areas in the country have seen the severest cold spells so far, with temperatures in Cheolwon sliding to minus 17 degrees and minus eleven-point-7 degrees in Chuncheon.

On Sunday, morning temperatures will fall to minus 13 degrees in Seoul and Suwon, minus 19 degrees in Cheolwon, minus 17 degrees in Chuncheon and minus 12 degrees in Cheongju.
