The Hill of Emperor / İmparator Tepesi
Eskiden, Ungsan’nın eteklerinde yaşayan aile adı JU olan yaşlı bir çift varmış.
Oradan geçmekte olan bir keşiş çiftin kulübesinden gelen şans işaretlerini fark etmiş. 70’lerindeki çifte:
“Yakın zamanda, ulu bir adama dönüşecek oğlunuz olacak.”
Bunun ardından kadın hamile kaldı ve Ju Won Jang ismini verdikleri bir oğlan doğurdu. Akrabalar ve komşular, onlara sempati duydu ve çocuk 5 yaşına gelip de rahip, çocuğun oraya ait olmadığını söyleyene dek onlara baktılar. Oğlan geleceği parlak bir delikanlıya dönüştü. 15’ine geldiğinde, ülkeyi gezmek için tapınaktan ayrıldı, ordu generali oldu. Sonraları ise Çin’in Ming Hanedanlığı’nın İmparatoru oldu.

The Hill of Emperor
There was once an old couple, whose family name was JU, living at the bottom of UNGSAN in UNGCHEON.
A monk was passing by when he noticed auspicious signs coming from their hut. He said to the couple in their seventies,
"You will soon have a baby boy, who will make a great man."
After that, the wife got pregnant and gave a birth to a baby boy, whom they named JUWONJANG. Relatives and neighbors felt sympathy for them and so provided for them until the boy turned 5, when the monk came back and took him away with him saying that the boy did not belong there. He turned out a bright young man. When he was 15, he left the temple to travel around the country, and became general of an army.
Later he became the first Emperor of the Ming Dynasty in China.
