Harvard ögrencisi olup Güney Kore'de tur atmak

Seoul Orta Okulu Ögretmeni, Ögrencileri Dövdügü Için Kovuldu
Persembe günü Seoul Egitim Kurulu, sinifindaki ögrencileri döverken yakalanan bir ögretmenin, fiziksel ceza alaninda kesin olarak yasaklanmis bir uygulamada bulundugu için kovulmasina karar verdi. 52 yasinda olan bu ögretmenin bir ögrenciyi tokatlayip tekmelerken çekilen görüntüler internet sitelerine verildi. --------- Seoul Elementary School Teacher Fired For Beating Students Seoul's education board said Thursday it has decided to fire an elementary school teacher who was caught beating his students in class, a case that led to a blanket ban on corporal punishment in schools. U.S. Ambassador Meets Korean Students

(01.10.2010, Yonhap)  Üniversiteler Yabanci Ögrenciler Için Çok Cazip Seoul'deki Hankuk Üniversitesi Uluslararasi Egitim bölümü birinci sinif ögrencisi Lim Ji-eun, yorucu gününe Türk sinif arkadaslariyla kampüs kafesinde gerçeklestirdigi bir sabah bulusmasiyla basladi (alttaki resim). Lim'in Türk arkadaslarindan biri: ''Baslarda kendimi Korelilerin arasinda tuhaf hissedecegim konusunda endiseliydim, ama yanildim, çünkü kendimi dünyanin her bir tarafindan gelen yabanci ögrencilerin arasinda buldum'' seklinde konustu. Hankuk Üniversitesi'nde suan toplam 1300 yabanci ögrenci bulunuyor. Hankuk Üniversitesi, yaratici programlarla yabanci ögrenciler için Kore'de okumayi cazip kilmak için ugras veren üniversitelerden sadece bir tanesi. Bu çalismalar sayesinde okumak için Kore'ye giden yabanci ögrenci sayisinda artis yasandi. Adalet Bakanligi istatistiklerine göre, 2005 yilinda 24.797 olan yabanci ögrenci sayisi, bu sene 82.096'ya yükseldi. FiLiZz53 Universities lure foreign students Lim Ji-eun, a freshman in international studies at Hankuk University in northeastern Seoul, started her busy day with an early-morning meeting with her two Turkish classmates at the campus cafe. One of Lim’s Turkish friends said, “I was a bit worried at first that I would feel different among Koreans, but I was wrong because I found myself surrounded by a bunch of students from all over the world.” Currently, there are 1,300 foreign students enrolled at HUFS. HUFS is just one of the schools hoping to attract foreign students with more innovative programs. These efforts have resulted in a general increase in the number of foreign students coming here to study.
