Kore Bilesik Hisse Senedi Fiyat Endeksi (KOSPI) otomativ sektöründen ve mali islerden elde ettigi kazanç sebebiyle 13.7'lik deger kazanarak yillik kazancini 1,846.60'a yükseltti.

ADB: G.Kore Asya'daki En Çok Sehirlesen 6. Ülke

Asya Gelisim Bankasi'nin (ADB) verilerne göre Güney Kore, Asya ve Pasifik bölgelerindeki 48 ülke arasinda en çok sehirlesen nüfus babinda 6. sirada yer almaktadir.

ADB'nin nüfus raporuna göre, Hong Kong, Singapore ve Nauru geçen yil sehirlerde yasayan toplam nüfuslariyla en çok sehirlesen ülkelerdi.

Avustralya, sehirlerde yasayan halk babinda toplam nüfusun %88.7'ini olusturmasiyla 4. sirada yer aldi. Yeni Zellanda da ise, %86.6'lik bir nüfus orani sehirlerde yasamaktadir.

Geçen yil Güney Kore nüfusunun sehrlerde yasayan %81.5 olan orani, 1990 yilindaki %73.8 olan orandan %7.7 artis saglamistir.

Gelisim, ulustaki sehirlesme hizini dogrular ölçüdedir.

Japonya, sehirde yasayan %67'lik oraniyla 11 sirada, Taiwan 16. sirada ve Çin ise 22. sirada yer almaktadir.

ADB: S.Korea is 6th Most Urbanized in Asia

Data from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) shows that South Korea has the sixth-largest urbanized population among 48 countries and territories in the Asia-Pacific region.

According to an ADB population report, Hong Kong, Singapore and Nauru had the most urbanized populations with their entire populations living in cities last year.

Australia came in fourth with the ratio of people living in cities to its overall population standing at 88-point-seven percent. In New Zealand, 86-point-six percent of the population lived in cities.

Eighty-one-point-five percent of South Korea’s population lived in cities last year, up seven-point-seven percent from 73-point-eight percent in 1990. The growth testifies to the rapid urbanization taking place in the nation.

Japan ranked eleventh with 67 percent of its population living in cities. Taiwan came in 16th and China 22nd.

ADB: Güney Kore Ekonomisi Bu Yil %6'lik Bir Büyüme Yasayacak

Asya Gelisim Bankasi (ADB), Güney Kore'nin 2010 gelisimi konusunda beklentisini arttirdi.

Banka, persembe günkü raporunda; Güney Kore ekonomisinin bu yil itibariyla %6 büyüyecegini açikladi.Ayrica ülkenin cari hesap fazlasinin bu yil 9 milyar dolara çikacagini belirtti.

Içlerinde Güney Kore'nin de bulundugu 4 ülkenin (Kore, Hong Kong, Çin, Tayvan) kuzey dogu asya bölge ekonomisini iyilestirmede öncülük yapacaklari tahmin ediliyor.

ADB: S.Korean Economy to Grow 6% This Year

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has raised its outlook for South Korea’s economic growth in 2010.

The bank predicted in a report Wednesday that the South Korean economy will grow six percent this year.The bank also said that South Korea’s current account surplus will increase by nine billion dollars this year.

It is predicted that 4 countries including South Korea (South Korea, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan) will lead the economic recovery of the Northeast Asian region.

Rapora Göre Güzellik Sektörü 2013'e Kadar 7 Trilyon Won Deger Kazanacak

Ülkedeki güzellik sektörü önümüzdeki 3 yil boyunca gelisimini sürdürerek yaklasik 7 trilyon Won'luk bir degere ulasmayi planliyor.

Kore Saglik Endüstrisi Gelisim Enstitüsü tarafindan güzellik sektörü kapsamli cuma günü yapilacak seminerde kullanilacak belgelere göre, Güney Kore güzellik sektörü 2005 ile 2008 arasinda piyasasini 3'e katladi.

Gelisim hizi böyle devam ederse sektör piyasasi 2013'e kadar 6,8 trilyon Won'a ulasacak.

Report: Beauty Service Industry to be Worth W7 Tln by 2013

The beauty service industry in the nation is projected to grow over the next three years to almost seven trillion won.

Material to be presented Friday by the Korea Health Industry Development Institute in an international seminar on the beauty service industry says the South Korean beauty service market nearly tripled between 2005 and 2008.

If the beauty service industry continues this pace of growth, it will be worth some six-point-eight trillion won by 2013.

Hükümet Çin'den Lahana Ithal Edecek

Güney Kore hükümeti, ülke çapinda yetistirilen çesitli sebzelerin fiyatlarinin ani artisini dengeleyebilmek için acil durum önlemi olarak Çin'den lahana ithal edecek.

Gov’t to Import Cabbage from China

The government will import cabbage from China as an emergency measure to help stabilize the skyrocketing prices of the domestically grown variety of the vegetable

The team will check the current status of the Chinese cabbage market and will ink deals with Chinese cabbage exporters.

Cabbage prices have soared following the heavy rains and floods last week.

Trade with Russia Grows 50 Fold in 20 Yrs

Trade between South Korea and Russia has increased 50 fold over the 20-year period since the two nations forged diplomatic ties in 1990.

According to data from the Finance Ministry, the two-way trade went from 190 million dollars in 1992, when data first began to be tallied, to nearly ten billion dollars last year.

Rice Harvest Expected to Drop This Year

The nation’s rice harvests are expected to drop this year due to typhoons and heavy downpours.

The Minister of Agriculture Yoo Jeong-boksaid that around eight percent of the nation’s rice has been harvested so far, noting that the harvesting process is taking place a week later compared to other years due to weather considerations.
