10th Jeonju International Sori Festival

Jeonju-si (전주시), Jeollabuk-do (전라 북도), South Korea (대한민국)

Resimde Kuzey Jeolla Eyaleti, Jeonju'da gerçeklesen ve bugün baslamis olan 10.Jeonju Uluslararasi Sori Festivali'nin posteri gösterilmektedir. Sori, doga ve evrenle ile iletisim kuran insanlarin, seslerini anlatmasiyla ilgili olan Korece bir sözcüktür. Ayrica, Kore'nin müzikal mirasini olusturan enstrümental sesler ile insan seslerinin birlesimi anlamina da gelmektedir.

The poster of the 10th Jeonju International Sori Festival, to be held in Jeonju, North Jeolla Province, is unveiled on April 7. Sori is a Korean word referring to archetypal human voices with which humans communicate with nature and the universe. It also refers to the combination of the human voice and instrumental sounds, which forms Korea's musical heritage.

18. yüzyilin sonlarinda yapildigi tahmin edilen, üzerinde sakayik çiçegi deseni bulunan 10 parçali bir paravan, 20 Haziran'a kadar Seoul, Yongsan, Kore Ulusal Müzesi'nde sergilenecek.

Oldest silver crafts found in South Korea

Güney Gyeongsang Eyaleti, Gimhae, Daeseongdong’daki eski bir mezarda 4. yüzyilin ortalarina ait olduguna inanilan gümüs halkalar bulundu. Boynu süslemek için kullanilan halkalar 5.2 cm çapinda ve 97 ayar gümüs. Güney Kore’de bulunan en eski esyalardir.

Shown are two silver rings discovered in an ancient tomb in Daeseongdong, Gimhae, South Gyeongsang Province and believed to date back to the mid 4th century. The rings, used to decorate a saddle, are 5.2 cm in diameter and 97 percent silver. They are the oldest such items found in South Korea.
