Güney Kore Kültür Bakani Yu In-chon (sagdan dördüncü), Seoul'ün 243 km güneyindeki tarihi sehir Jeonju'da "Kore Tarzi Tanitim Merkezi (Korean Style Promotion Center)" için 18 Mart'ta düzenlenen temel atma törenine katildi. 30 milyar won'a (26.48 milyon Amerikan dolari) mal olacak merkez 2012'ye kadar tamamlanacak ve geleneksel Kore yemekleri, el sanatlari, ilaçlari, evleri, kiyafetleri ve müzigine hizmet edecek.

Culture Minister Yu In-chon (4th from R) shovels during the ground-breaking ceremony March 18 for the the Korean Style Promotion Center in the ancient city of Jeonju 243 kilometers south of Seoul. The center, to be completed by 2012 at the cost of 30 billion won (US$26.48 million), will serve as a center for Korean traditional food, papercraft, medicine, houses, clothing and music.

Bogalar, dün sona eren Cheongdo Boga Güresi Festivali'nde boynuzlarini birbirine geçirmistir. 480,000 turistin katilimiyla gerçeklesen etkinlik bes gün boyunca devam etmistir.

Bulls lock horns in the Cheongdo Bullfighting Festival that ended yesterday. The event attracted 480,000 tourists during five days.

Bir sanatçinin çizimini yaptigi uzay müzesi Jeju uluslarasi sehrinde insa edilme yolunda.
Jeju gelisim merkezi uzay müzesi için tasarimci seçiyor..
Jeju Uluslararasi Sehir Gelisim Merkezi (JDC) için 23 Mart'ta Daelim Endüstri Sirketi tarafindan müzenin sekline karar verilecek. 2013 yilinda ise bu sekil müzeyle birlikte yapim asamasina geçecektir.

March 23, JEJU, South Korea -- An artist's rendering of the aerospace museum to be built in the Jeju free international city. The Jeju International City Development Center (JDC) selected on March 23 a consortium led by Daelim Industrial Co. to design the proposed museum, which is to be built by early 2013.

31 Mart - 2 Nisan tarihleri arasinda, Silla Kralligi'nin (M.Ö.57 - M.S.918) eski baskenti olan ve Kuzey Gyeongsang Eyaleti'nde yer alan Gyeongju'da, bir Güney Kore-Tayland Budist Kültür Forumu gerçeklesecektir.

A South Korea-Thailand Buddhist culture forum will be held in Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang Province, the old capital of the Silla Kingdom (57 B.C.-918 A.D.), from March 31-April 2.

Royal texts of Joseon found in Japan

Japon'larin sahip oldugu sanilan, Kore'nin çok eskiye ait kraliyet ile ilgili olan metinleri bulunmus ve ilk kez fotografi çekilmistir. Resimde, Imparatoriçe Myeongseong'un cenaze törenini belirten 'Uigwe' ciltinden bir kesit görülmektedir.

Ancient Korean royal texts thought to be in Japanese possession have been located and now photographed for the first time. A photograph of the “Uigwe” volume that depicts the state funeral of Empress Myeongseong.
