Sokcho Şehri, Sokcho Sahil alanında yılın ilk günü yapılan Sokcho Gündoğumu Festivali'ne ev sahipliği yapmaktadır. Festival, yerli halk ve turistlere bir buluşma ortamı sağlamayı, halka umut ve iftihar dilekleri sunmayı ve turistlere Sokcho'nun, pozitif enerji dolu turistik şehir imajını göstermeyi amaçlamaktadır. Ek olarak festival ziyaretçilere birçok turistik mekan ve eğlence imkanı da sunmaktadır.

Seoul Doğu Otobüs Terminalinden veya Seoul Ekspres Otobüs Terminalinden, Sokcho Ekspres Otobüs Terminaline direk giden bir otobüse bininiz.
Terminalde indikten sonra sahile gitmek için 543 metre kadar sola doğru yürüyünüz.

Sokcho-si holds the Sokcho Sunrise Festival in the area around Sokcho Beach on the first day of the New Year. The festival aims to provide a venue for the union of the locals and tourists, to deliver messages of hope and pride to citizens, and enhance the image of Sokcho as a tourist city full of positive energy to tourists. Also, the festival offers many attractions and entertainment for visitors.
